A launcher ive been working on for myself as I couldnt find anything that was right for me.
Currently the group editor and adding shortcuts are not implemented and a few other things I will add later...
This is a very early version so after some feedback.

Description:
BETA NOTE: please note this is currently in beta If you have any major issues please send an email instead of leaving a comment.

Grenade Launcher! The launcher to blow away all other launchers!

Grenade launcher is designed primarily as an application drawer. With a variety of options to customise the desktop the way you want it to be! No more fiddling with widgets trying to get them to look right, instead when you hit the home button you have instant access too all your apps, eliminating the need for the application switcher.

Features include:
* Various layout types and options to adjust them how you see fit
* Groups
* Minimal interface
* Written from the ground up for android 4.0+ (works back to version 2.0)
* Quick an easy to use

App:
* Long click an app to bring up the editor dialog
* Use the menu button to bring up the options menu

Group Editor:
* Use the up and down arrows to sort the list
* Use the add group button to add a new group
* Click a group to group edit dialog
* The home group it undeletable, but can be renamed, this is where new apps will appear when installed

Running FJ asopxxx and it runs smooth for me. Would take some getting use to no desktop. Def great for someone that wants a minimalist approach. Nice work!

Definitely has potential!! I'm gonna keep an eye on it for sure. A couple recommended features; hide app labels, list style layout (which is probably stated in the op)

I see mention of a menu with settings in it but cannot find it. How do I access the settings? The screen shot in the OP shows the three dots menu icon at the bottom right of the screen, but they are not present on my device. I only see the usual Back, Home, and Recent options. This is on a Motorola Razr M, 4.1.1.

List view is in the settings(layout as list) then set grid width to 1.

If you don't have access to the menu then you cannot access the settings, ill have a look into that to see if theres anything i can find to fix it...

I included a screen shot from my RAZR M so you can see the absence of the menu.

I also installed this on my Nexus 7. No menu there either

I'm on cm10.1 and i had to add a stationary menu button to my nav bar
In order to access the menu.

ok guys, ive updated a new version, which should show up on the market in a few hours.

Hopefully the menu button should be showing now, and should have fixed the startup crash, thanks for the report :)

I love the concept! However, here are a few features I would be pleased to see implemented:
  • Padding adjustment choice
  • Option for swipe left/right grid like launcher (iPhone esque)
  • Customization of titles
  • Color customization
  • Add/delete pages

Thanks

there is some customising of tiles if you long click them.

With the padding option, are you referring to between the tiles, or around the edge of the screen?

Re: [App] Grenade Launcher - BETA

Firstly liking the I idea here, also can't add shortcuts.
And I have a few suggestions:
1 Adding the ability to have widgets on screens
2 home screen change
3 customizable app screen transition effect and look and feel
4 customize color schemes

Again liking where it's going nicely done
