Just came across this update for tomtom 7

Seems to work OK on mine, but I never had any problems with lag

crash to install for me with tomtom 7.910 already install in intern storage....

Edit:
Also crash after uninstall of the old version

Might find that it conflicts with the maps you have from your "older" version....install at you peril

Ok i had wrong: you have to unzip the file, it's not a cab but a rar files ...
Inside of you have a cab of tomtom which installed IN the phone memory and NOT into the storage ...
And what about the autorun.exe?
I don't know ....

Works fine on my diamond, but im using version 8 maps.

Also, i installed after a format so i had no existing tomtom on there.

kaos_king,

What device did you state that you were purchasing the maps for when buying the maps form the Tomtom shop?

I downloaded TT 7.910 via TTHome 2.5 without problem and installed a sample map. This is working fine, so i'm ready to purchase a map, but am unsure which device option to specify and indeed, whether it makes any difference as its a map only.
