Hey guys,
I did a little of my own research and even tried this once before to no avail.
I need to update my CWM bootloader so I can flash the latest ROM's.
Any help is appreciated.

Download Bootloader you want from here:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=12697

Download Modem you want from here:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=12698

Download Odin from here:
http://odindownload.com/

Shutdown phone (don't use extended power-menu to go to download mode)
Then powerbutton + volumedown + homebutton = download mode

Flash the Bootloader and Modem you prefer...

Good Luck

Thanks mate, a little unsure on a few things.
- Modem, what is this? I have never downlaoded a modem and used it before?
- With Odin do I simply flash the new bootloader over the old one, as I would do if I were just rooting a brand new phone for the first time?

thx again

Modem is for your phone signal receive ( tried to explain easy... :) )
You can flash over the old one, but you can not turn back anymore to Android 4.3 if you flash bootloader for 4.4.x

Just follow the steps in the links i gave you....
Good Luck...

I tried with those zip, odin passes on both bootloader and modem, but after reboot it's still the old bootloader and modem, am I doing something wrong?

Will it be because I am using TWRP recovery? Because I remember when I used to update bootloaders, after odin passes, it will reboot into recovery to complete the process.
