[Q] command window not opening in fast boot

When in fast boot mode trying to unlock my htc one I cannot get the command window to open by holding shift button and right clicking. What am I doing wrong? Please help this noob!!

Dont click on the exe shift right click on an open space. the type in fastboot bla bla bla
