this is way outta left field but since everyone on here is a genius i figured i might be able to get some help. its somewhat android related.

i'm staying at a friend's house for a bit and i'm having trouble seeing their wifi network. its got wpa-psk security with a 20 character password. other people have apple things (ipad, iphone) connected but my ns4g, nook simple, and w7 laptop cant even see it.

i've tried googling this a million different ways but i cant seem to find anything that helps. is there really wifi that can only connect with apple products!? geez, that company really does drive me insane sometimes

Just curious what your opinion is on OC here lately I have been on stock voltages with 110% OC! Love this kernel man. Do you recommend OC or currently do it?

Yeah haha...I run 1300/400

I don't use liveoc because I feel that the overclocking is enough for me but it is definitely good but sacrifices battery as compared to 1 Ghz..

But if 115 liveoc is running well, then sweet!

I don't know what from you guys are running but I've been running stock 4.0.4 rooted with this kernel. Its been so smooth I haven't needed to oc.

As far as roxxoen's issue it sounds like they have it hidden which means you would have to manually enter the router login info.

I'm also running stock and love it. I've been running v19 for awhile and love it but, I haven't been able to connect to my laptop via usb since running the kernel, without doing a reboot while my phone is connected. I just now decided to turn off Fast Charge thru NSTools, and it connected immediately when plugged in. Anyone else had/has problem connecting? I'm hoping I didn't miss someone pointing this out somewhere. Btw, great kernel.

One of main components of fast charge is to disable data throughput through the USB port. With fast charge enabled your USB port is a CHARGE ONLY port. Your phone and fast charge are working as intended.

Fastcharge disables anything besides charging through USB port so what you are seeing is standard I believe

Is anyone else having issues with the WiFi? I've been using CM9 with Matrix kernal for a while now and so far, I've really enjoyed the kernal over the stock CM9 one. However, I updated to CM9 Nightly 25 Apr 2012 last night and then I flashed the Matrix kernal v19.0 and I noticed that my WiFi was no longer working...kinda surprised me because it's always been GPS issues, never Wifi. When I click on the WiFi icon on my status bar, it does nothing. When I go into phone settings and try to turn on wifi there, it'll give the message, "turning on WiFi" and then it sits there and the message won't go away till I reboot.
I own a Nexus S 4G running on Sprint.

Other than that, keep up the good work on the kernal! Thx

    Hey guys,

This is the JB version of the Matr1x kernel and it works on 4.1.1/4.1.2 and 4.2.

    - BLN (Thanks to neldar)

    - BFS (Thanks to Con Kolivas)

    - Fast Charge by Chad Froebel (Be sure to buy his widget here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incredicontrol.fastchargewidget)

    - Bigmem (Thanks to _thalamus for the working implementation)

    - ROW I/O Scheduler

    - 4.2 Bluetooth fix (thanks to DerTeufel)

    - Vibration control (thanks to DerTeufel)

    - BLD

    - Touch Wake

    - Wheatley Governor

    - Custom Voltage Interface

    Changelog:

v22.5 Updated kernel base for JB, added all my favorite *useful* features and removed a ton of pointless stuff, changed LCD voltage to 2.3V, and used the Bcmdhd PM_FAST in standby.

v23.0 Reverted kernel base back to 3.0.31 for speed and stability, reverted the LCD UV, and added the interactive governor (with input boost).

v23.5 Added 1.2Ghz OC, Touch Wake, Voodoo Color, and CM versions.

v24.0 Added 1.32Ghz OC, 100% battery charge fix (cosmetic), and wheatley governor.

v24.5 Added DerTeufel's 4.2 bluetooth fix, the ROW I/O Scheduler, and Ezekeel's Custom Voltage Interface.

v25.0 Added DerTeufel's vibration control interface for his Helly Bean ROM, fixed the 100Mhz not sticking issue, added the SmartassV2 governor, added USB OTG, added CIFS, and added MTP (this might not work on all the ROMs, so just let me know on which ones it does work).
