Wish the OP was still around if only to add that you need to use the alternative database setting whenever it seems the settings don't work on a reboot.

Looking at that nothing strange sticks out. I'm thinking maybe it's a Rom or kernel setting you have? Is it the same on stock? Going to try slim bean on the s3 tomorrow. See if that helps.

Tried a folder on the SD card still won't work.
Posting this from slim ROM and it still isn't working. Out of ideas why it's working for you and not others.

There is no reason to not work in Slim Bean, as far as something is cutted from the rom features..Tried a folder on the SD card still won't work.

Ty, I guess Directory Bind is more what I need.GameLoft as is in the title of this thread and there's probably no difference between the two apps, unless GL to SD is more like Link2SD.
No idea too, maybe it come from the device but rom are the same... strange !
I know some people having i9300 but none of them want to root their device so I can't do any test with SIII
What version of busybox have you got installed?

So i've followed this thread and this thread's instructions to a tee and cannot get this to work properly. I download the data for the apps first, kill the apps, set up my folders in Directory Bind, reboot just to make sure, wait for SU prompt, run the apps, but they still download the same files again to their original location. I even tried Asphalt 7 and the game just crashes back to my homescreen.
Everything looks fine in DB but I can't figure why it won't work. Can anyone help? This is what my setup looks like.
it doesnt work for my p3110 with CM 10.1 . i've done all process and it the "Binded" sign already green , my game data transferred well into my extsdcard but when i start the game , it start to download again and its downloaded into my internal instead external .
its shows no error ( i followed everything instructed in the first page ) but its not working . is it due to compability with CM 10.1 ? any help would be appreciated
that´s correct. Directory Bind is not compatible with CM10.1 at the moment
How do we get this to work? I've moved my game files to my sd card on my otg cable for my nexus 7 and I've tried to mount the obb folder using this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2155363 but my games such as Asphalt still tell me to download data :/
I doubt that. Tech should be working for you, you shouldn't be working for the tech. If you ever are, you should ditch it and use something else....I've been living the dream ever since a ... scripter produced a solution to the FAT32 limitation on AOSP.
