a new updaye is coming? im having a problam with the icon on notifacation bar.. thay just stuck... i had it in the 7.2 rom in my aria aswell... then i moved to cm7 stable rom 7.1 and the problam disapeer.. maybe you can put the stable rom here?

its a problam in cm 7.2 generally.. in my aria i had it until i flashed the stable 7.1 ver.

first at all: Congratulations for the great work and the invested Time to construct the NAND-Rom!
Since now 2 months i use the Release (published into this thread) on my HTC HDmini successfull (7.2.0).
What i can tell about the Release is the following. This are only Annotations ( no critic's) to help the Developers for the actual work:
A funny thing that i found out is: we use for Business "Lotus Notes Traveller". To save Battery-Power i disbaled the Auto-Synchro into this App. But it's not working; still synchronize into Background. This only as a Note.
I hope my comments are usefull for the Development. Please let me know if i can help you!!!!

What i can tell about the Release is the following. This are only Annotations ( no critic's) to help the Developers for the actual work:
- Battery - lifetime:
with disabled WLAN and Autosynchro the lifetime is acceptable. With enabled the time is maximum 2h. I use now Juicedefender but my feeling is: not very better. - GPS:
it's often hanging to find the Satellites. After reboot it's ok. - Video-Camera
If i use it: crash! Reboot needed (with Battery Plug-Out) - Reaction-Time by a incoming call:
Ovten after a while from the last reboot -- > i can not Start the call then the Lockingscreen is froozen. After the call (hung up from the Caller) it works normally.But it#s not so funny to can not open the call :-D - Charging battery:
If the Mobilephone down (disabled) and i plug in the USB-cable for Offline-charging: i can not start the Mobilephone! Only to plug out Battery solve the Problem

I think he's a "little bit" confused
First off, that doesn't look like the required English language, Secondly what are you trying to say?
not any updates more since 23-12-01 ? i wanna to put the nand version on my phone so bad since they day that version came out, but there where to many bugs and a fast battery drain how is it now?
Battery drain is very high although I closed most apps probably causing it.
Another important thing: Wifi stops very often and doesn't want to restart, or only after reboot / removing battery.
Sometimes the phone is crashing and removing battery is the only solution.
In this way it's just not useable for my wife.
I'm still a very big fan of the Mini and I keep faith in a more stable Android.

I use the nand version for more than 1 month now, i use my Wlan internetconnection at home to access whatsapp.
I phone from time to time, i disabled the GPS and i charge every 2 Days, sometimes i cant accept incoming phonecalles but anyway it's still cool to use this android version with this phone.

What is Photonic ?
Photonic is a unofficial port of Cyanogenmod, almost AOSP Version 2.3.7 - photonic kernel 2.6.35 Changes are minimal, sources are open. For further information visit github or official Cyanogenmod on the web!
Sources are written to support NAND Boot (a replacement of Winmobile ROM incl. bootloader & recovery system) and SD-CARD Boot (classic boot from winmobile via haret)

28the "liberated" image is ready, i have spent my spare time from the last weeks with it, to see if its worth finding a way to do it.
Now i am at a point where i can say: Yes it is possible!
for explanation how it works:
we have 2 cores in our chipset, with each running a system on it.
Arm9 core, running iguana rtos, that you do not notice as casual user, and
Arm11 core, that is running wm/android, all the stuff you see on your display
system is going up with 2 generic bootloaders by qualcomm, that bring up the hardware, first thing that happens, done by htc is "oemsbl" bootloader, running on arm9. that one loads amss (iguana) from nand to ram on arm9,it is doing everything with the modem and phone i.e.. amss is running on nand in a special efs partition. (we can not overwrite this one while the device is running, but we also dont need to). oemsbl also inits appspl (our SPL-Bootloader) on arm11. since here arm9 and arm11 have several interfaces to communicate with each other. we are lucky, most things are done via shared memory. SPL (appspl) starts the os then.
so, what we want to do is flashing a different appspl, oemsbl and amss now, also we have to change the layout of htc partition.
is that possible? YES
we are lucky, the partitionlayout of these partitions are the same, so once they are loaded from nand to memory (except efs) we can change them while system is running.
of course, this is a very risky procedure, as it is always when flashing spl and radio but its possible.
what holds me back now ? the parts on nand we want to overwrite are locked. its my job now to find a way to unlock them, but the people that are involved in my work know, i am having good progress and i am very close
when will there be a release ? thats hard to say, ones unlocked, theres not much to do anymore, have to write a flash tool for DAU's, an other tool for copying your serials, imei's & mac's is already finished. also the first 2 android versions are finished now.
will it be a "real" aria ? It will tell you so, but it's not. there are minor hardware differences that i had to fix in kernel & systems. but in general its possible to boot every aria release (with several things not working)
are there any bugs left ? NO21hey guys, sorry for the missing status update;
i have decided to do some test before posting my status with battery driver. but happily the last test isnt over yet, waiting for the battery beeing empty since 50h now!
well, i think the test will take about 10 more hours, but i will post the detailed results then
