If you ll try out 2 or 3 kernels there are some tweaks in there that cannot be wiped.
The easiest way is with jbdroid and wipe but if you want serious the best way is to take a backup wipe everything and start from scratch.
Only then you ll be sure that there is nothing in there to corrupt or conflict something else.
For me it is better to go a step forward and wipe also you internal/external memory(backup first).
For sure it is very easy to change kernel or a rom in a bus or a coffe shop but the best way is to sit down and make it correct
Running the Test Build with CheckRom V6.
Today my Note was so hot like never before. I was recharging it from very low % of battery while the phone was in idle.
When I was going to unplug it, the whole phone was extremely hot. Holding my finger for 2 seconds on the display was painful... Battery was at 90%.
PS: The display stays often black, when trying to wake it up. With #9 this didn't happend so often.

try a full wipe...that makes it working...by meaning full include emmc..this is the only solution for now.
Test it at 3 devices so far and working.
My sequence was:
wipe dalvik c, cache part, emmc,system,data,boot, factory settings,install rom,wipe dalvik& cache,install kernel wipe dalvik & cache,set permissions, done.
For now after many tests that way is the better and makes the device faster ar least for that device and that kernel.
Many will complain about full wipe but this is the way it was and thats the way that it will be for stability...
I am sorry but what is dalvic c and emmc?
i always do format internal sd and factory reset then go in to recovery mode, wipe cache and factory reset. which part am i missing for full wipe? Thanks.
I dont think you are full formatting your internal sd. In cwm internal storage is shown as emmc. Its under storage and mounts. Then format emmc. It will wipe all your data on the phone itself. But not the external sd. I do it every time i flash a new rom. Provides more consistent results. Backup all data to external sd first.

Franco is that kind of guy i guess, he's just ignoring people when they report bug , same thing was happening with his GB kernel #10, i think there was at least 100 people tellin him that he has a problem with SOD and what he did? Nothing, just ignored them
I guess now it's the same thing with WiFi
Franco , Franco where r u ?
Another big moment in Gnote history.
