MX Video Player & DICE Player working well for me.
DICE makes some distorted sounds on some MKVs, MX works completely though.

I was excited for VLC but they are way too slow on putting out something usable and letting users actually USE IT (as Stryder5 mentioned)

It's not available for the US yet. Don't know why.
I didn't know it. Here is the 0.0.8 beta from Play Store (Spain). Hope it's better than 0.0.7...

This is the eighth beta available of VLC for Android.
The new beta is a small release above 0.0.7, improving the SDcards management (including external), fullscreen playback, thumbnailing speed, headphones support, orientation behavior, Android 4.2, lock screen control and notifications, audio glitches and audio interface sorting.
It also brings many fixes for crashes and issues that were reported by users, and translations updates.
But remember, this is still a beta ;)

Thanks for updating. Quite like having VLC on my phone as it's my default media player on desktop.

Still unsure if it can replace MX player yet though..

OP updated. Thanks! If you want (and if it's possible), you should PM a mod to take over the OP of this thread. I don't get VLC in the play store so I don't get update notifications. It seems you do and can get the beta updates more often than I can check. If not, thanks for still providing us with updates :highfive:

Thanks to you!. It doesn't matter how (or by who) updates are provided. The goal is to make them accessible for members and this thread is perfect as it is :good:

Best regards.
