Anyone know Pantech sky im-a650s? CM7/MIUI development?

Hi every one! I have a Pantech device. It's name: SKY Vega IM-A650S

Specification (it's similar HTC desire, HTC nexus one)

CPU: Qualcomm QSD8250
RAM: 512MB
Display: Amoled, 3,7" 480x800
ROM: 512MB
Camera: 5Mp - recorder 720p
OS: Android 2.2.1
GSM/WCDMA 2100Mhz,Wifi,3G,Bluetooth.

FASTBOOT MODE (Volume Down + Search + Power)

RECOVERY MODE (Search + Home + Power)

SKY site: http://www.androians.com , http://www.isky.co.kr/index.sky

I have rooted it and I have an shipped rom is "update.zip":
update.zip.001
update.zip.002

Please help me install RA-recovery and custom rom for it.

I can make a custom recovery if you can supply me with a boot.img from your phone. When I get back to my dorm I can show you how to do a romdump which will backup your necessary partitions.

If you don't know how to flash it I can teach you.

1. Download the recovery image and place it on the root of your SD card.

2. Download Busybox Installer from the Market and install Busybox.

3. Now download Terminal Emulator.

4. Inside Terminal Emulator enter these commands:

# flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img

I personally don't like to make ROMs for a device I don't own. I like to test things before releasing it and having my own device allows me to do so. Sorry about that. Maybe if I get the money to buy one, but I'm on a budget being a college student and all. Haha.

You have one to give/sell?

CM7/CM9 would be ports because don't have vendor files for this phone. Every ROM would be a port except for ROMs built from modified stock. I'll take a look at the stock ROM and see how it is built. I've never seen a Pantech Android phone. Problem with ports is that not everything will work.

Did that recovery image work btw?
