Maybe if there's a custom ROM that supports this feature or you can also check the Play Store and type in "Lock Screen" and see what pop up.

About ROM that I've tried, both Purity and Cataclysm enable you to remove camera widget from lockscreen.
I'm using some app that when I shake my phone on the lock screen. the flashlight triggers

Sounds pretty cool and similar to what is being used on the Moto X. Can you please share the name of that app for others to try?

Thanks. I will look into it right now.
Edit: I downloaded it and literally 2 seconds later I deleted it. It only works when the screen is on. If you pick up the phone and shake it when the screen is off it won't work.
