Just some questions/discussion topic i need to know to help me out with a possible extra battery/replacement battery

what specs for a phone battery do I need to match the captivate glide

any suggestions that are already out there?

will any samsung battery work? (android Samsungs)

well you can get an extended battery.
i just got the hyperion 3500mAh and I've been using it for two days now.
its giving me 15+ hours with occasional data usage and 1-2 hours of phone.
my old battery didnt last for more than 6 hours on stand by

Well official model number for the battery that comes with the phone is EB575152LA. You should be able to find it on eBay, but watch out for fakes (mainly noticeable due to the Samsung logo being missing from the battery in the pics).
