Hi everyone!

Is there anyone who has the problem that the phone app loades up instantly with a black background but the contacts themselfs take 5-10 sec to load up? i have around 250 contacts.

the problem is there with newly wiped rom no apps installed. the problem is there with different kernels. the problem is there with different roms. what im i doing wrong? its very frustrating, all apps that seem to use some kind of database are suffering from this.

is there a way two tweak the scripts in init.d with morfic kernel to solve this annoying problem? :) or is my nandmemory starting to give in :( ?
any tips :D ? is there a way to lock the phone app in memory so it doesnt get kicked out and has to be reloaded.

Edit: running oodies latest Cmskank with t132 menchausen (spelling).

maybe there is something in your sd storage slowing it down. ive seen that happen, an odd file on sd storage doing weird things. if it was on your sd storage, that would explain why it happens with any rom/kernel.

ill try and make a full wipe of the sdstorage then. Odd though if that affects the phone contacts and sms loading times :D

Two stupid question:

Will your app load faster when force 2d is enabled?

Will that drain a little more battery?

yes. but it still has a lot of work that needs to be done(for the ns/ns4g). but the basic stuff like cpu control, governors, schedulers, and reboot menu work.

imagine what kind of hell my phone would be in if i let all my apps start up after boot :eek: i let just the basics start up, what i need.

You have no problem with your phone. Every ICS Rom has this issue unfortunately. If somebody will manage to keep it in memory, we will enjoy it. Install a third party dialer/contact app that has this function. Exdialer is pretty good.

Actually, i remade trinity's kernel and changes the system path, and now is working awesomely on my phone. Should i upload it or wait till the next update comes?

    I assume I need to write something.. ras cream sandwich is something that I've built for myself, Mr Morfic, and doctor Semeon. I also write Android apps, some are on the market, some only on my phones, and some on my eclipse. While building, I've always shared my builds with Semeon and Daniel because they are my best Android friends, and they help me with their warm support. Once the build went public, few haters really pissed me off and that really burnt. So I decided to pull the build and share it only with a few people. I was probably wrong because this is a community. And as a community, we should share. Different roms share many things because the os is the same, but the core can be really different. The ui might look very similar between different roms but this should not let people believe I've kanged someone else work. Morfic and Semeon can tell you about my daily progress. So I'm thinking about sharing the build with you again. I won't create a new thread because I don't care about developer flags or such, or stupid questions from one click root tools users. This is a thread of "advanced" users which share the same love for Daniels Trinity kernels. Next build will be up here in the next few days. Only few language packages, or even only en US/en GB, will be built in. I'm currently focusing on my launcher project. Which will be built in.

    so this is pure code, no extra png files.
    this means it won't ask for more resources. it is just a call for the android system how to display the battery. same as percentage now.
