Which gapps do I flash? I downloaded 4.2 gapps I found on Google search but its not working then tried the 4.1.2 which is also not working

One thing to note that SuperSU might be the only root manager that is "compatible" with android 4.2.
So download that if you have problems granting root access.
Try manually inserting the APNs and see if it works.

i did not found any bug yet except for FC on Google+ that comes with the package. However, the build least i can say is very basic. it fits the name. yet, it is smooth as gliding butter.
Interesting, disable the build in G+ and download the one in Play store and see if that fixes the fc.
Though to be fair, the gapps there is a costumized package, so the problem may settle when the gapps team releases their official package on goo.im
Well it is a test build, bug detected then. Unless someone else can prove this wrong?

i uninstall the G+ then i reinstall from my backup. it is the same as in the Play store. it works again.
edited : i just realise that the clock on unlock screen. the size is quite off. and the storage setting gaves FC

Installed CM10.1. at 03:05 PM.
First watch closed, restartet---all ok.
GoogleApps reflashed from CM10 closed...closed...closed...closed...---all ok.
Installed then new gapps-jb42-20121120.zip with the same response...close...close...all ok.
So for me no need reflash another version but now i have installed gapps-jb4.2
Recognized the following issues:
Einstellungen-Interface-Themes -->Einstellungen wurden beendet
Einstellungen-Gerät-Speicher --> Einstellungen wurden beendet.
Über das Telefon-Systemupdates-Jetzt prüfen --> Der Prozess com.google.process.gapps wurde beendet.
Hope it will be fixed soon and a great respect to codeworkx!!!:good::good::good:

First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 10.1:
- Copy CM10.1 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from internal SDCard
- Reboot
Upgrading from CyanogenMod 10:
- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM10.1 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- Reboot
- Wipe data of clock app
- Reset everything under Settings -> Date & Time otherwise editing alarms might cause FCs
