Please note that I haven't had the oportunity to test the M7 files yet, so proceed with caution.

Download speeds are terrible. :\

That's really disappointing. Can anyone else confirm this? If so, I need to get something done about it!

The site is hosted on a good dedicated server with a bucket load of RAM and a full duplex 1Gbps connection (based in London UK). On top of that, the server is dedicated entirely to this site alone - so it certainly shouldn't be slow!

I'm moving home today, but I'll take a look at it tonight (or tomorrow morning at the latest). In the meantime, can other's please comment on speed? I'm paying a small fortune for the server, so I want to make sure it's running properly

Many thanks,
Bugsy.

PS. I don't have an o2 RUU right now, but someone did send me an o2(DE) nandroid backup if anyone wants that?

Hey bugsy. Was nice to meet up with you yesterday. Hope the move goes ok.. :). Nothing wrong with site speed at all for me. Did a test on our network in the uk and downed 1800 MB in about 30 seconds. Must have been a connection issue between the user and your site. It can happen.

Really busy moving boxes right now, but here's a temporary link to the nandroid (O2_DE) that was sent to me. I haven't even looked at it, so please use with caution! I've made a couple of posts on android-hilfe.de recently, which is where I think the file might originate from. It might even be the same file that Besko1979 mentioned / has.

Anyway, Here's the temporary link for those who want it:

Edit: Backup is now linked in the OP.

european ruu

can i run an european RUU on a device with the german O2 base ? or do i risk to brick the device ?

it doesn't work because of the different cid. no brick but installation will aborted after checking cid. cid can only change when s-off. currently no s-off available for M7

Thanks Craig. The move went fine, but I don't want to see any more boxes for a while :)

As for the server, I've had a look through the logs etc. and everything seems to be in order. As you say, it could have been a bad US<>UK link.

Invalid CID

I have a HTC__001 CID and I'm unable to use either of the RUU's. I tried using the Europe RUU (RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.1_Radio_4A.13. 3227.06_10.27.1127.01_release_308001_signed_2_4.ex e) because I'm in the UK and I get error 155 - Invalid CID.

Any ideas how I can go back to stock?
