sorry if my post came acrossed as dickish, just frustrated with Toro these days in general,

I tested Lean-franco-and fancy kernels. -
all exhibited the same battery drain on fresh clean flashes,
2 gnexs we have, I tried different kernel combos with the same results.

The Navi issue with it crashing. Idk. tried clear data, etc the typical,
it just force closes over and over unless you kill it, (I always map longpress back to kill.)

Bluetooth is whacked no matter what, - but I have always had decent luck on newer aokp builds.

Idk, I think i'm just getting burnt out now with a never ending development - flash cycle.

Started with 2 launch day Droid X's then on to LD Gnexes, and have been flashing weekly-nightly since 2010...

I'd suggest fancy or askp kernel and reading up on them both before making your decision.

Again, ya Bluetooth is mostly Google.
There is a Bluetooth fix that takes your Bluetooth props back to what they were in 4.1.2 (I believe) that has helped a lot of people and not others though, still worth a shot for you.

I never have an issue with my navi keys at all so I can't say much else on that.

If its just getting burnt out, just go with a stable you like and be happy with it for a few months cm10 would probably be the most stable you could get with still having some added customization.

7-12 has been golden for me. As far as battery goes I have just come to terms with the fact that the gnex sucks. I have a seido extended and I can get 4 to 5 hrs worth of screen time with data. Sometimes less than 4 if I have a crappy signal. Battery for me sucks no matter what. Thats not a complaint it is what it is.

I do love this rom though. Its been my daily driver for a while now.

Downloaded 7-12 with clean flash and works beautifully. Smooth as can be, and i love all of the settings. but messaging doesnt work!? very upset as i was hoping to use as daily driver. I dont understand why messaging is a problem with this rom, but i hope that it gets sorted out soon. I'll keep checking back for new updates

Is wireless adb working correctly for anyone -- either when starting it via the wireless adb quick toggle or from within an app like TricksterMOD? For me, it simply fails to connect.

I feel you there man. It's really annoying especially when battery life just seems to have gone to **** no matter what. I would run slimbean 7 and fancy r35. Fancy's made some huge breakthrough's in r35 testing and has phenomenal battery and performance. I feel really relieved, last night was the first night media server didn't drain the **** out of my battery over night, thanks to fancy 35 slim bean 7 and my awesome build prop initd tweaks, but mostly fancy kernel doing all the magic. Good luck man.

On 7-15, anyone else have it where under Lockscreen settings, the circle lock to set the slider targets is behind the text for the other lockscreen settings and you can't assign targets?

I can't seem to get 4G or at least 3G but with CM10.1.2 I can get it just fine. And you are teasing Halo so much! I though it was in the 1.7 build.

Back up and try a nightly, very stable all the newest stuff.

WHATCHOO TALKING BOUT WILLIS?

I did, now I have Halo and everything is working great! just which things were a bit more organized in the Carbon Setting. Like had a AOKP, CM, and PA section kinda so I know what I want. Like Ribbons are from AOKP, Halo and Pie from PA and a few things from CM.

I can't seem to find an answer... is there a way to get AVRCP 1.3 (with the metadata being pushed) on this rom?
I noticed today that neither pandora, googlemusic, or simply my music player will push the song/artist/album info onto my HU via BT.

Anyone have any suggestions/thoughts if this is feasible in this rom?

What is the latest nightly build with the least amount of bugs? I'm still on the 5/21 nightly. It runs great, but am missing out on some new features.

Please release a new stable build. It's been 2 months since the last release.

Just flash one and try it out I never really had issues on nightlies. They don't have the word stable in the name but that doesn't mean they aren't. Back up your set up and try one.

    About Carbon

CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.

Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.

We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.

Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.

While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

    Features
Simply stated, we can't really list features here. There are too many and they change too frequently, and we now support a truly insane number of devices. Chances are, if you like a feature, we have it already. Seriously.

    Download Carbon

All Carbon downloads and further information such as features, changelog, and FAQ can be found on our goo.im page.

Both nightly and release builds are available. Please note that nightlies are for development purposes. This means that they may not work properly, may not flash, may not build for days at a time, and will probably eat your cat. If you flash these, know what you're doing, have backups, and don't complain when something happens. It's on you!

    Support

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:

    1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.

    2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!

    3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.

    4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.

    5) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

No need to worry about losing support, Carbonrom Development should be obtaining a VZW Galaxy Nexus shortly.

Hey guys zaphod posted this bluetooth fix. It replaces the new bluetooth binaries with the old ones and others have confirmed it works. He posted it on aokp.
