Yes.. all new drivers are for ICS.
And must be ported.

no... we have drivers for gb too... (for eg the ones in fxp rom)... they are new ones...compiled for gb not for ics...

we need to port those.....

I'll see it... really didnt have time for this.... was working on a new device too .. the Galaxy Y Duos (mid range, dual sim, low on development, and new launch)

I'm the sole dev on it....and we do not even have a separate forum for it either.... lol... i was busy in providing root and cwm for that phone...

i just read this thread and it should be move to development thread. Most of the dev read only look inside dev thread. By this will get thier attentions. Contact Collosus or Pilot.

i'd posted this in dev and colossus moved it to general...

anyways that's not an issue....the.devs are busy with their own projects

hi,
this is very intesting topic :good: .i, using stock kernel for armv6 with cm7 lates . i tried couple of time . to resolve the andreno thing .. well . i try to put the another script on initdelta . rc .. to run .. another lib .. for costum kernel .. but still not working .. well .. i put direcly the lib form costum to stock with replacing libgsl.so and mydevice not running ..

i only have one question :
it's possible to put lib from costum kernel to stock ...???
and wich part of lib to support that

liggsl and adreno200 has diffrent size ...betwen stock and costum .. for max 2d and 3d ...

thanks You.... :)

    ya..
    I'm trying to.compile kernels now.

    maybe i can get new kgsl onto stock kernel
    (thanks to doom and fxp's awesome works)
    after that maybe compile new egl drivers...

    its not as easy as copy pasting...but i wont give up without a fight

    It's been some time new Adreno libs have been out and on most devices, people have got them

    j's CM (and roms like oodie, achotjan, m&m etc based on freexperia project) all have it but stock roms still cannot enjoy new adreno libs

    I'm not a developer who can compile egl libs on my own... so some help from some devs would be a lot of help

    Here's what i have studied/got to know till now

    the thread here : http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1239165
    says that deleting libGlES_android.so from /lib/egl actually increases performance?? so is that lib not needed?? :eek:

    next i've used azuzu tools to get dependencies of these libs

    eglsubAndroid.so depends on:
    liblog.so
    libcutils.so
    libdl.so
    libgsl.so
    libhardware.so
    libc.so
    libstdc++.so
    libm.so

    libEGL_adreno200.so depends on:
    liblog.so
    libcutils.so
    libdl.so
    libgsl.so
    libhardware.so
    libc.so
    libstdc++.so
    libm.so

    libGLES_android.so depends on:
    liblog.so
    libcutils.so
    libhardware.so
    libutils.so
    libpixelflinger.so
    libETC1.so
    libc.so
    libstdc++.so
    libm.so

    libGLESv1_CM_adreno200.so depends on:
    __ashrdi3 liblog.so
    libcutils.so
    libdl.so
    libgsl.so
    libc.so
    libstdc++.so
    libm.so

    libGLESv2_adreno200.so depends on:
    __ashldi3 liblog.so
    libcutils.so
    libdl.so
    libgsl.so
    libc.so
    libstdc++.so
    libm.so

    libq3dtools_adreno200.so depends on:
    liblog.so
    libcutils.so
    libdl.so
    libc.so
    libstdc++.so
    libm.so

    So what i basically want to know is.... WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NEXT???

    can the new libs be actually "ported" ? or they need to be compiled from source??

    p.s. No stupid posts here... if you can help.. please do.. if you cannot, stay away... "wow is this happening for real?" sort of posts are please to be avoided
