This is most likely a bug, will be fixed in the next version.

Immersive mode is a feature in Android 4.4 allowing to hide both the status bar and the navigation bar on devices with no physical "home" button.

1. We are working on a way to show the swipe direction and keep the design classy.

2. Will be adding it in the next update

3. There is no plan to change that, this is normal to use swipe behaviors on a lockscreen and to be able to click whatever we want when the device is unlocked.

4. Adding arrows on banners would clutter the design, there is already an animation making the banner fade when you swipe it left, it does not when you swipe it right to open it.
