hi,

i've installed evo 3.6 ger (21916) and include the following xda_uc apps: mms, cht, opera10, pocketrar & removesenseshortcuts

by the way...what exactly does "removesenseshortcuts"?

after the final soft reset (after installing the xda_uc apps) my home screen is completely black...i only see a litte gray bar on the top with a lock symbol. but the device is not locked, i can use all other tabs.

how can i remove this "pseydo-lock"??

Try to uninstall CHT xda_uc app first - reboot...

that's it! i've uninstalled the cht cab...reboot...all ok!

then i reinstalled the xda_uc cht cab manually...reboot...same old problem. :(

now i've uninstalled cht again.

i hope this problem can be fixed!?

Hello together,
the CHT cab from my XDA_UC pack is not the full CHT. It contains only additional files, when you have installed CHT. So if you want to use CHT with my white version,

1. download and install CHT from here
2. Install CHT cab from my XDA_UC pack

If coOkieMonster allows me to provide a full version of CHT, I will pack it in my next XDA_UC as a cab.

'removeShortcuts' removes the Sense Shortcuts in the Startmenu to access the Sense Tab's.

good to know. i think this point is a must have in the faq.

i've installed your "special cht"...but your white version looks not good with the black rom. now i'Ve installed cht 1.8.5 and cht editor 1.8.5.1 seperately.

really great rom so far. at the moment i noticed no problems! after months of basic problems with other roms (with active sync, sms receving etc.) it seems that i can stay a while with that rom. ;)

but 2 questions about the top bar...

1. i've installed cht 2.0b and i'm very happy. but now i don't see the battery icon anymore...i think the clock (which is always visible) overlays the battery. how can i deativate the clock (and active the battery icon) in the top bar permanently?

2. i don't like these little framed icons...imho they are badly readable (and i've good eyes ;)). can i change the "icon set"?

Update

Hello together,
i've uploaded v3.7. I changed the OS to 21680 and fixed some bugs (e.g. ContactPicker does not work) :)

So I hope I got all bugs...

Happy flashing and a nice weekend.

when i started using your rom i noticed that the clock in the top bar always fades in when i leaving the home screen and fades out when i came back. i've seen this behaviour never before. so i thought that you set the clock in the top bar manually!? i'm suprised that you can't help. :(

by the way...exactly this "fading" behaviour makes me a little bit confused when i often open and close apps from the homescreen. it really doesn't look good. furthermore i don't need a clock everytime i open an app. ;)

i really love you rom...but i personally don't like the topbar (taskbar). because of the "eye-unfriendly framed icons" and the fading clock.

i mean all the icons in the top bar (i think this is the taskbar!?)...battery, wifi, phone signal strength, sms on the right and startmenu on the left...

Hiya my friends, this is a superb Rom, it rocks! Thnx!

But just a little question about Slider icons:

I'v downloaded "NullPointer EvO Gen|N v3.7 Build 21916" (NP.EvO.N.3.7_23XXX_0409.zip) and I like it so much but the slider icons...

I installed a Transparent Slider at first boot, and rebooted, and I saw all slider icons in Grey scale, without color. Deinstalled this slider transparent cab, now i can see the selected one colored again...

So, I would like to change the slider icons and i've tried lot of sliders .cabs but it doesn't changes, so why? is it possible?

SOLVED: installing first the Touch X transparent slider, and then the Original Leo Icons from Antoniomistretta ... ThNX!

i mean...i don't need a 23xxx release but where are they now??

21916 is a 6.5 WM branch - Buttons on top ("old style") very fast and nice.

2168x is a 6.5.x WM branch - Buttons on bottom and more finger friendly. I've used it for some days now and it's really fast and battery consume is much better than in other 6.5.x series.

@23xxx looks like they are dead e.g. 23569 was the latest...development was stopped or new features/bug fixes/updates only in other WM branches like 216xx

Hi! I'm enjoying the rom, but have a small problem. When i connect and use my bluetooth keyboard, the rom has some setting that is reading it as a german QWERTZ instead of a universal QWERTY. How can I fix this?

Amazing Rom

I have been searching for a rom that was easy, smooth , clean and simple. I tried Duttys, Energy and others, bit only to find myself uninstalling those and resorting to stock, but I think you have done it. I love this rom. its close to stock as possible, but fast and smooth.
I can not thank you enough, from now on, i will just use our roms. they are the best, keep up the great work.

Hi, is there a password on •NullPointer EvO Gen|B v3.7 Build 21916 as i cant seem to open it? Have opened the native one fine.

    I'd like to introduce you my version of a flexible Rom. Flexible? This rom comes without HTC Messaging Client, any Opera and Taskmamanger (except Windows Taskmanager) but with XDA_UC.
    With the XDA_UC-Package that I provide you can decide, wich way the rom should work.

    How do I install this rom?
    1. Download desired rom base
    2. Download XDA_UC-Package
    3. Unzip XDA_UC-Package
    4. Copy XDA_UC-folder to your SD-Card
    5. Delete not needed cab's from XDA_UC-folder
    6. Flash rom
    7. After boot perform a hardreset
    8. After boot do your settings (e.g. Clock)
    9. Perform a softreset
    10. Wait until XDA_UC ended (there comes a hint)
    11. Perform a softreset

    Must I use your XDA_UC-Package?

    • No, the rom works without my XDA_UC-Package. But there will be no MMS-Support and no Opera.

    What is the difference between 219xx and 216xx?
    • 219xx is the standard Build for actual devices. The startmenu-Button is on top. These builds are very stable.
    • 216xx are more fingerfriendly. The represent the latest technology from MS. Startmenu-Button is on bottom. These Builds cost a bit more ram.

    What is the difference between standard Messaging and HTC Messaging?
    • Standard Messaging costs lower ram
    • Standard Messaging supports folders for incoming, outgoing post
    • Standard Messaging is fast
    • HTC Messaging looks good
    • HTC Messaging is slow (espacially when you have a great number of SMS)
    • HTC Messaging costs more ram

    What is the difference between Opera 9 and Opera 10?
    • Opera 9 is well integrated into Sense
    • With Opera 9 the Hardware-Zoom is supported
    • Opera 10 is faster and more fingerfriendly

    Can I install another Taskbar?

    • Yes, you can but be sure that you install a taskbar with the corresponding HTCVolumeControl. VolumeControl does not work if you install a different version.

    Is the CHT pack a full CHT?

    • No, it's not a full version of CHT

    Hello together,

    3.9 is on. There are only minor changes because there is not so much new around.
