when you get the error get the logcat so we can whats wrong

If it's an error on flash then there is no logcat to get. A copy of /tmp/recovery.log is what would help

@dw9906 Firerat posted on a thread at the grp site instructions to compile cm7 + magpie. Try using that to add magpie for the apps2sdext users so they don't have to use hacky scripts and apps

Does moving (checking on) the Delvik Cache to sd-ext in S2E app make the rom slower or does it remain fast as before?

Sent from my HTC Dream using XDA Premium App

If you have a slow sdcard then moving anything to sd-ext will slow it down. If you have plenty of space then I suggest to avoid any sd-ext mods
If you have a ton of apps and they can't all fit then experiment and see whats best

Did you move, or let's say is this thread
HTML:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1100710
abandonned?
If so, maybe you put an info there.

BTW I'm currently running grp 20110618 and will now download and try your latest version.:D

In case I wanted to compile and tinker on my own, will this be the right guide to start with this?

    Kernel Update

Just FYI I have a new kernel build out:
    ezgb-2636-v1.5.2: (git tag ezgb-2636-v1.5.2-20111106)
    Gingerbread: ezgb-2636-v1.5.2_S.zip md5: 244be107ab1a32b8f8b96301eedb5f94
Not much changed; however it may help with clock/time skew. (ie your clock running slow if your provider is not providing accurate time)
(really 1.5.2 is 1.5.1 with this, the patch was missed by me and after I forked the 2636 kernel from cyanogen's 2635 base)

As usual all the froyo/gingerbread ezgb kernels are listed in the Stand Alone Kernel Post in my ezGingerbread thread. They latest kernel is also available on rom manager.

    Whhooooo!
I was just thinking of using this ROM!
Any major changes for the G1?
Or should I go check the CM changelog?

Sent from my T-Mobile G1 using Tapatalk

just changes from cm. i did nothing but build it. it may include some themes that my girlfriend made. crap.. she's going to be mad at me for that. it wasn't finished. have to fix that. taking down the dl link. will re upload later.

here's the link. the old one is gone. if you got lucky and got the one with the theme, please don't share it. its still a work in progress and will possibly be a paid app. distributing it is considered distributing a paid app and you can get banned for it and/or contacted by the fbi. you don't want to go to prison do you? you can keep it, just dont share it.

    P.S. she is pissed....
