[Q] Any chance to get NTFS 2,5 drive accessible - rooted

SM-T705, CF-Autoroot:

When I plug in the drive it just says something like "clear/format the drive" as it is non FAT. ES Explorer sees the drive and says USB2007 forat not supported. Total Comander and Root Explorer dont show it.

Use Paragon_NTFS Plugin for Total Commander

THX, works, there is also a mounter from Paragon, which needs root anf I didnt hat to work because of Selinux message.

Outta curiosity, is the tablet providing enough power for the HDD or are you using external power?

yes the 2,5" drive runs powered from the Tabs USB

mine do kik sounds on 2,5 old one i thinking buy a SSD to test it SSD use less power lol, but usb hub with Power Adapter i use old one the hard drive to power it up

its a Fujitsu about 4 years old with an "UNITEK USB3.0 to SATA converter" from amazon

I just plug in my old Samsung USB-OTG adapter. Since my USB HDD is formatted NTFS, use Paragon app (root) to mount, and presto !!
