If you don't know how to find this setting, here's how:

SETTINGS > BATTERY > SCREEN> Time On:

Hopefully, we can get enough data to see how energy efficient Super AMOLED can be and find some ways to improve our own STOTs!

  • Best Screen Time On time:

Is there anyway to change my option?
I accidently hit 7hours

Best Screen Time On time: just over 6hrs
Brightness setting: It is usually at the 10% mark, but i change it to 50% if I need the screen brighter.
Battery Size: Extended GSM - definitely worth the money. was getting 4.5 - 5 hours on standard before
(EDIT: using OEM Extended Battery, was using OEM standard battery)
Radios On: WiFi and 2g only for the vast majority of the time
ROM: Liquid Smooth 4.1.1 Beta 1 - I need to flash beta 2 at some point
Android Version: 4.1.1
Kernel: Trinity 1384/307 - but CPU is maxed at 1190

I'll have to remember this thread for this weekend. I can't really test during the week because my horrid signal at work would skew my results.

However, if I could add a few notes. To help with the data, specifying GSM or CDMA would be helpful, as CDMA phones are known to be bigger battery hogs. Also, I see a lot of people listing "extended" batteries, but not specifying if it's the 2000/2100mAh (OEM extended) or 3500/3800mAh (third party).

Both of those pieces of information would make a world of difference in helping to validate the information in the thread.

This is what I consider my most impressive. Same setup but with data off when not in use has gotten me 4hr 50min display.
