Thanks lotherius. He was intending on porting alot of touchwiz features..or so i think. Never asked him.

Sadly i couldnt improve upon much in the rom. In my mod for me and testers it seems battery life and ui response has improved a decent bit.

But i also could not get it to boot correctly without fillowing my exact install instructions. I will probably post it. But then again i dont feel like getting flamed because people cant follow instructions.

I am also working on a port of most of weapon to 2.3.4. I have some done but alot left to go.

However tonight i ordered a gsm unlocked galaxy nexus, but my g2x will be my last device to go. I am simply keeping it for the community, you guys are great!

You just have to make sure you don't let the battery get that low - it could actually damage the battery. One of those "Hidden problems" due to LG doing needless modifications to the code.

I hope so. I have urged Kwes1020 to post his updates. I hope people do not act stupid if they have questions/issues. I am happy that someone took on the challenge of keeping this Rom going. I am hopeful most will feel the same way.

Is it possible to have this ROM functioning properly without an SD card?

So, I had this ROM installed on my G2X, but now I want to sell the phone. But I took the SD card out of the G2X and put it in my new phone. So, I will be selling the phone without an SD card. I did a factory reset and then deleted everything that was left over on the internal memory card. I rebooted the phone and Weapon is still installed and seems to be working fine.

Now, if the buyer pops in an SD card, is this going to cause problems? Does he need to format it?

I'm asking because I'm selling my phone as being already rooted with Weapon installed.

Theirs about 4 or 5 of them in the themes section got g2x. Look for anything with weapon in the title. Hell I even made one. And I know its towards the top of the list currently.

I'm getting HORRIBLE battery life. GREAT rom though. Any suggestions on kernels or anything to improve battery life? I'm managing about 6 hours. My old sensation got 16-20 hours consistently

I got more than a day with this ROM when I ran it. Try wiping via Lotherius' G2x scrubber, then re'flash. Sometimes it could be a rogue app that's causing your battery drain as well.

Hmmm. Ill try wiping battery stats again and ill check out that scrubber thing you were talking about. Ill see how it runs after that. ^_^

    Hello everyone! I have been working hard to bring you a modified version of the official 2.3.3 Gingerbread that LG has recently released to us. A lot of time and effort went into the making of this rom and rest assured that only more features will follow this initial release. Please enjoy!

    FEATURES
    ~ Based on LG official 2.3.3 Gingerbread
    ~ FIVE lockscreens: 4-Tab, Rotary, AOSP, Star Wars, Miui
    ~ EDT Tweaks: Lockscreen options, battery options, clock options
    ~ Quick Panel toggles ported from I9000
    ~ Power Menu
    ~ Music controls on all lockscreens (except Optimus 2x)
    ~ TouchWiz 4.5 Launcher (stock launcher also included)
    ~ LG Cam v3.0
    ~ CM7 MMS
    ~ Androidian theme from CM7 [green!]
    ~ Working A2DP!
    ~ Added full kernel version and mod version to About Phone
    ~ CRT ON & off animation
    ~ Colored settings icons

    Instructions on flashing
    1. Download zip and place on sdcard
    2. Reboot into clockwork recovery
    3. Perform a factory reset
    4. Navigate to mounts and storage and format /system
    5. Choose Install zip from sdcard
    6. Navigate to rom zip and flash
    7. Reboot

    THINGS TO BE AWARE OF
    1. Not all of EDT Tweaks features have been implemented yet. If it's grayed out, it's because it's not available.
    2. Miui lockscreen highlights green ONLY when charging, fully charged and low battery
    3. Equalizer on Miui lockscreen does not animate
    4. You can set ANY CUSTOM APP you want to mms handle on Miui lockscreen AND 4-tab lockscreen.
    5. Customize TouchWiz 4.5 dock by going to app drawer > menu button > edit > drag/drop > save

    I'm about finished with 2.6 now. Changelog is as follows

    ~ Added init.d support to stock kernel
    ~ Custom scripts - auto zipalign + set permissions at every boot (/data/app)
    ~ Adjusted minfree settings via init.d script (better ram management/more free ram) < This should really help stabilize things
    ~ Reverted back to stock cam (sick of ppl complaining of camera; flashable for LG cam will be provided in the OP)
    ~ Gtalk video chat now works with FFC (not sure if LG cam will break this)
    ~ Added Superuser 3.0-Final

    Gonna run it for awhile just to make sure it's golden. Should be posted sometime today or tomorrow though.

    Working on another update guys. I'm rebuilding a new EDT Tweaks for it. New options so far include the ability to toggle the CRT animations on and off (maybe you like off but hate on, etc). I also have the Miui top battery bar working (probably my fav Miui feature). Update will also include a new style color picker for the clock/battery. Pretty cool stuff. :)
