Flashed ok. Looks good and no issues so far. Would like to see the keyboard/dialer the color of the calculator though. Can't ever seem to find colored keyboards around unless its a GO app.

I was actually going back and forth on changing the keyboard keys and dialer buttons to blue. I opted for the lazy approach and didn't touch it, lol. I think that would look pretty cool though too. Anybody else in favor of blue buttons/keys on the dialer and keyboard?

Should I change the dial button at the bottom from green to blue too? I made a blue one but pulled it out at the last minute.

Anything else anybody would like to see tweaked?

I guess if you changes the others then may as well do the bottom one too. I have big thumbs so not to crazy about the small keys. I have to use delete alot. Might have to go back to the stock eclipse one again. Id like bigger keys but I'm probably one of few lol. Do you know anyone that has a stock size blue keyboard?
Other then that its all good to me.

I liked the stock keyboard the best until I switched to swype. The stock keyboard had bigger keys. I had way fewer typos myself. Hmm, here's a thought. Theme the stock keyboard to match and replace the one in Liberty with it. Maybe do this as an add on. I hate changing anything other than just the look in a rom that is already awesome.

I would love a stock keyboard that is blue but I dont know a thing about theming other then UOT Kitchen lol. Everytime I change something in a theme I get a bootloop lol.
First thing I did when I flashed liberty was yank my eclipse keyboard and switch to it. Swype is cool but the layout sucks. If the space bar was bigger and the swype settings could be turned off I would use it but then it wouldnt be swype lol

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I wasn't telling you to theme the stock keyboard. What I was really trying to get at is that if you think this is a worth while idea I could look at doing it as an addon/replacement to the Liberty keyboard.

A little help with stock keyboard in Liberty please.

Some looks...with moto keyboard

rp076,

Moto keyboard in that pic right? How did you get it into Liberty? I've tried renaming LatinIME.apk to .bak and putting the stock one in place. Even set permissions the same and rebooted and wiped dalvik cache. Can't get it to work. Am I missing another file or something? The stock apk I have was from the 2.3.4 Leaked SBF that I deoexed myself.

LOL I say I'm going to do this then get stumped on the first step.

Lol...yea its the moto one. I got it from overminds ics thread. Probably did it the hard way, but I extracted it from the zip because I could not get it to flash. Then I deleted the LatinIME.apk that came with liberty, installed the moto one & changed permissions, then rebooted. All in root explorer of course lol this would be great themed :)

Blue Blur Keyboard add on. BIGGER BUTTONS YAY!

So thanks to suggestions from motcher41 and some help from rp076 pointing me in the right direction toward overmind's stock blur keyboard zip. And to overmind for providing said zip file. I think I've got a BLUE solution to the default Liberty keyboard.

Please make sure to do a backup before installing. This zip will remove the android keyboard that came with Liberty and replace it with this blue modified stock blur keyboard. I has BIGGER BUTTONS! YAY!

If you give this a try please let me know how it goes. Thanks!
