I'm gonna wait on the CM9 build for bugs to get worked out before I flash. I need a stable phone for work. I really like what Eugene is doing with CM7. I almost forgot what CyanogenMod looked like until I flashed R3 a couple weeks ago. I ran CyanogenMod 24/7 on my old MT4G. R6 is my favorite ROM, and I have tried 99% of the Rom's released for the Hercules. Keep up the great work Eugene! It's much appreciated. :thumbup:

Excuse mme for this question, but I don't think it would hurt, what are the changes in RC7? Should I upgrade from RC6?

Speed is nothing more than just a word... a judgment ...

R6 was still based on Slayher's build in Nov. of CM7 RC0 of CM7.2

This base is CM7 7.2 that is no longer in RC stage..

slayher's build = ro.build.date=Sun Nov 27 22:19:56 EST 2011

New Build = ro.build.date=Sat Apr 21 00:31:14 PDT 2012

Also @all

DO a Clean wipe!!!
This has a compete new Framework & App base!!

just installed so far everything works fine. I superwiped and flashed r7 and restored data from R6.

Eugene i did notice that r7 still shows up as R6, no biggie.
You are awesome, thanks again.

Ill wipe. Since I did restore data from r6.

Update: works now with the wipe. I had originally restored from within recovery. I'm not a new user I was just trying to answer a question. I don't like titanium either :)

    I Am Not AFFILIATED with the CyanogenMOD Team.. Any Comments by me are not the views of CyanogenMOD!

    Please Read ENTIRE Post

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
