Hello,
I've had this mod in my mind for quite some time and it's still in development but it's quite nice to have.

I will release source code for this as soon as I finish it. Please, please don't ask for it now...

What it is:

CHECKING YOUR KERNEL VERSION:

Code:

uname -r

Always nand backup before flashing.

Currently available versions:

• 2.6.35.13-g47321df - stock, updated HTC
• 2.6.35.13-gdb5464d - leedroid 3d
• 2.6.35.13-kamma_v08+

Changelog:

• 17/10/2011:
  • added 2.6.35.13-kamma_v08+ kernel version (kamma)
• 16/10/2011:
  • fixed flashing error for strange stock roms
  • added 2.6.35.13-gdb5464d kernel version

thats a great idea, I cant tell you how much it sucks to have to preposition the phone im my hand to hit the power button if the screen times out

my question is what kind of stand by power does it need to keep the digitizer powered up at all times?

hmm so if i see it right, if your screen is off and you touch the buttons on your phone, the light of those buttons are set on? If so, must suck when your phone is in your pocket.

did u try it before posting comment mate? it is [1] finger touch-sensitive btn n u hv to [2] slide between home btn to search btn. so no issues here.

Dude.........! Great job!

I was thinking in the line of the camera-button-to-wake, but this is W A Y better!
But if U perhaps could make the light turn on AFTER u slide it all the way open(and not turn on the light just as U touch the first button!) (only the open part) I think it would be perfect!
