[Q] Xperia M2 firmware on M?

As the title says, can the xperia M2 firmware be flashed on the M or M dual?. I found an ftf for the m2 on their subforum. So would it work? And if not, why?

No, m and m2 are two different phones.

Don't try to do this ever..both phone have different kernels and configuration so it will hard bricked your device if try

see the specification...same hardware phones can use same ftf....do u think both has same processor,wifi,display?
and if the hardware same..sony will use same for both...they wont waste time...

only if all specification are same....y would sony create 2 phone with same hardwares?
so no way to flash ftf to another phone

bro u should learn about processor and chipset...here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon_(system_on_chip)
and each phone has different ...
u cant flash ftf on other phones....there is no 2 phones has same hardware after 2013

we can only flash Xperia M dual's ftf on Xperia M as they got 99% same hardware,difference is only the single sim & dual sim

or M's firmware on M dual

For example,we can only flash Xperia M dual's ftf on Xperia M.

Reason?
They are using the exactly same hardware...
Including Camera,RAM,Internal Storage,Chipset,Screen resolution etc.

don't say,press the button is enough...

btw don't ever flash M2's ftf on M as this will cause hardbrick
