Fix For Cropping: Here is the best solution for that problem. Download Wallpaper Wizardrii and install it. Open the app and choose the menu button at the bottom. Select "No Scroll" and exit to your home screen. Now you will be able to crop most of the picture so Batman and Mario's heads are cut off for example. The only downside is that panning will be disabled. This is all we can do until Google comes out with a better solution.

Today I spent a long time trying to make my wallpapers not look like **** on this tablet and got pretty frustrated. After doing some Googling, I discovered you can crop pictures to 1920x1408 for the best possible look in both landscape AND portrait. I'd like to share some of my cropped wallpapers I picked up from Wallbase.net now. I'll continue to add more, too. These work very nicely with the default wallpaper setter. Download from the link. Not the pics! Enjoy!

I've added a second optimized wallpaper pack.

And here's a third optimized wallpaper pack. Majority of these use a 1920x1600 resolution so you can decide how much of the top or bottom you want in your background.

These are great, thanks! Finding wallpaper that fits properly on this tab has been difficult and i have no desire to use an app draining resources to set a wallpaper. Looking forward to more!

Nice wallpapers! Is there anyway I can use the full size of the picture? When i select one of these it asks me to crop it.

I really appreciate you posting these. I thought I was the only one frustrated by the **** wallpaper quality as a result of honeycomb cropping.

Excellent work on these. I do have a question though as I am still learning how the wallpaper settings work:

When you select the wallpaper do you still have to resize the box to fix the whole picture or how does the selection process work?

I still get the option to crop :/ - I thought I could use the entire pic.

Unfortunately, the only way that would work is if you were okay with Portrait looking all jacked up.

EDIT: I found a quick solution that works with all these wallpapers. I'll add the fix to the OP.

Damn, I forgot Photobucket had a bandwidth cap. Forced to go Pro. :(

All you have to do is place them on your tab, hold down on the the home screen and choose Wallpapers. Then choose Galley. Now pick the wallpaper you'd like to set.

Third Wallpaper Pack. I tried going with 1920x1600 instead and it looks like it works out better because you now have the option to choose more of the top of the picture or bottom. Hope you like them.

I do not see those in my screen settings on my Tab 10.1

    It's Settings > Screen> Screen display
