now we will have 4 ics roms.....getting every ics experience we can get.... :D man i could not wish for another phone... :D

Hehe, finally I "entered" the ICS developing world! :) IT IS AWESOME :D

P.S: Now I am building with:

  • RockR's surface dithering patch
  • Updated my device folder (now does not build copybit or hwcomposer)
  • Updated vendor folder to match device folder (now I am using prebuilt copybit and hwcomposer to avoid bootloops)
  • Fixed the 336MB xbin problem
  • Camera fix (hopefully)
Bugs will only be (sadly):

  • Lockscreen bootloops
  • No SystemUI
Hope those bugs will get fixed as soon as possible :)

EDIT: I synced the framework base 25 april. From that day a lot of commits got accepted, including some commits on Lockscreen.java. So I will try to build with new frameworks base and see :)

What is line 996 of your lockscreen.java? If it's something like:
Code:
inflater.inflate(R.layout.keyguard_screen_slider_unlock, this,true);
Check that layout (in this case keyguard_screen_slider_unlock.xml) at line 24. Maybe try to download again the framework folder...

You are right, that's line 996 (well,it's 997 but whatever). That XML,at line 24,seems perfectly formed. PS Check pms bro.

Hello,I had a talk with Justin Rogers (also known as kejar91,Gummy ROM creator) and well - seems the cause is once again missing drawables into frameworks stuff. I will let you guys know as soon as possible.

Well.. as I promised,I worked the whole morning on Gummy, and using almost 100% of my brain (lol) I fixed ALL build errors. I patched, fixed and changed lots of stuff (v8/webkit/webrtc/libaudio/libgralloc/hwcomposer/overlay/libtilerenderer) so yeah, hard work. It's finishing to build now,I also applied some changes that perhaps should fix the Live Wallpaper and Browser problem.

I will let you know asap ;)

Hello! My exams are over,so I can finally relax and develop for my favourite community :)
    Currently syncing latest Gummy repos.
    17
    Let's get things straight again:

I did not have time to work on Android these days, was very busy on my own. So now I am resyncing the updated Gummy repo + JellyBean repo!!!
I have a few days before I go in vacation in another place, where there is no internet at all (only my phone's 3G). So due to lack of developing in the latest week I will work very hard for you guys to give you a stable Gummy and possibly,a booting Jellybean.

(oh btw Arjen's also syncing the repos so stay tuned for news from us ;)
    14
OP will post here if there are any news... no need to spam here... ;)

Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium

Exactly ;) anyway yes there are newz now:

I wanna finish Gummy project ASAP. So tomorrow morning will work the whole time, because I'm going on vacation for a month and I will have only my HSPA network on the phone.
About jellybean,it's being worked on from me,Arjen and probably hephappy. I'll try to make it boot.. but who knows. I've already fixed some build errors, set it up for ARMv6,and applied some CM commits (thanks RockR for some of them).

    Greets Bytecode :)
