My Verizon asking for root?!

Has anybody's my Verizon app asked for super user access? Mine did for some reason... Declined of course, but it was still weird

Close the app, reset the permission in SU, open the Verizon app and if it does it again, take a screen shot and put it up here. I would have to see proof. If Verizon is doing that, then Idk maneeeee, that sounds fuked up.

Yep, I just updated it from the Play Store, and then it asked WITHOUT me even opening the app.

There was a discussion about this in the s4 forums a while back. Just say no, or change the setting supersu to deny if you're really unsure. Personally, I don't care... They won't look at anything anyway.

M8, nuff said.

I'm so used to giving everything root access that I hit okay. Then immediately realized what I just did and freaked out. lol

I'm convinced that they are fishing for the number of rooted devices. It doesn't matter whether you grant it root or not. They want to know who is rooted. If it can ask for SU, it can report back that you have it and are rooted.
What I am more concerned with is why they want to know!
