Stock Android 4.3 VZW One Max, Firewater s-off, rooted SuperSU, TWRP Recovery.

Code:
Dial ##7764726
Hit Call
Type Password is 000000
Hit Feature Settings
Choose CD ROM
Click Disable
Hit menu, commit modifications (it will say no item changed)
Back out to home

That's EPST,it is supposed to allow you to disable
mounting of /system/etc/CDROM.ISO as a virtual
cdrom, but it doesn't store the change?

What am I doing wrong?

Well, yes, that would keep it from running.
But it is still allocating a virtual cdrom
drive and tying up a drive letter.

EPST is supposed to be able to turn
off creating the virtual device. That's
what I'm failing at.

If memory serves me correct its activated via a config file in which case you dialing codes would not disable it.

Any idea where to look, in order to disable that configuration option?
Logically, once the cdrom.iso software has done its job, it should
be user customizable to create / not create the cdrom virtual
device.
