[Script] Amestris Odexer V4.0 ! NEW Script

Amestris Odexer Version 4.0.

ONLY FOR ANDROID 4.1.2 SAMSUNG ROMS

Persian Support Page .. Pda-planet
Tested on stock deodexed MR2. use at own risk.

New Function: you can use this script over stock odexed firmwares too, some applications with stock firmware are not odex, this script make them odex!

changelog:
no more force close on email and allshare and....
removed cwm packages.
script must run via pc.
new script with smart logger file.
on finish , the Amestris_Log.xml will create on your pc.
rooted phone and custom kernel is required now.
compatible with many samsung 4.1.2 official roms.
fast and easy way, backup / restore your files.

Instructions:

Download Amestris_Odexer V4.0[windows[.zip file and extract. [see the attachments]

! you must enable usb debugging from developer options ! for all processes.

DO A BACKUP AT FIRST.
for doing backup:
plug usb cable
enable usb debugging from developer options, and run Backup.cmd file.
the files will be copied beside the Backup.cmd.

for restoring backup:
goto recovery mode,plug usb cable , mount your system partition and run Restore.cmd file.

for doing odex
custom kernel is required for adb commands. [adb root , adb remount] [ mine is siyah kernel ]
plug usb cable , and run the "Amestris_ODEXERV4.cmd".
follow the messages. at finish your phone will reboot.

you can check the Amestris_odex.log file for more information.

it seems just have a problem on some custom roms.
the error , it is. nobody knows how we can fix it?

FAQ!

1- I want to install a lot of custom mod and packages, what should i do?
R: at first you need to install your favorite custom Rom then do all changes , ( theming , modified applications, custom mod and hacks and etc.. on deodex structure.
when you finished everything, run this script.

Works well with null_ Rom, jkay framework, so xxellc version.

Jkay had nothing to do with the process it will odex everything.

yes, it must work on all new firmwares till now.

Hello dear friend..

it will optimize your phone.

for every hack or develop process , you have to edit them on deodex structure, [ the official firmwares are odexed for better stability and more better conditions, you can google it the differences about the odex and deodex]. with this script , the deodexed files will turn back to odex structures , like the official packages.

with running this script, all application will convert to odex , under this folders , system/app and system/framework.
after converting, all applications will be zip-aligned again for better ram usages.

if i want to say about this script in one sentence , Your phone will work smoothly.

and about the Rom , I'm currently working on it.

the Rom will be released next month.

Thanks for this. Been looking for something like this for ages. I never theme whatever rom I use and I walkways figured it wouldn't hurt to be odexed.

Good one! For me, the biggest mistake is to leave the ROM deodexed, specially the good ROMs. Odexed ROMs runs much better than any deodexed ROM.

I think re-flash rom is easier way to go back deodex rom

Search for Rujelus22's "AIO" script. It deodexes, odexes ROMs or apks, decompiles, compiles, signs apks etc. Still thanks OP. I always re odex my setups after I am all set up with inverted apps and a theme. The only app that can be a pain is inverted GTalk. Sometimes it disappears when you odex. The only reason I know is because I was the tester for Rujelus's

Process is not specific to a Rom, it's an android feature. So universal.

just tried on arhd 18 and latest perseus. works fine but if i return to deodex can i return my odex backup apps data to deodex rom?

Alter de-odexed files in your .zip, tyen re-flash ad re-odex.
Re-odexer already included in my installation script.

Attached modified script from my ROM, based on WanamLite stock deodex. Re-odexer and some ext4 tweaks included.
Use only as example. Do not use as is for ROM's not based on Wanam stock deodex.

hi, this script will work fine on 4.1.2 official samsung roms.

which firmware you have?
please leave your firmware detail here..

you can send me init.rc file here, i will make it.

the init.rc file is located on the root folder.

the deodexed files will run on odex firmwares, but no warranty for working odexed apps on deodex firmwares.
