How often will the Rom be updated?

When i found Time, Real Life come first

How do I flash it?

If coming from previous Asylum OMNI or official OMNI and you want to do a dirty install:

1. boot into recovery
2. flash the Rom
3. reboob

If coming from previous Asylum OMNI and you'd like a clean flash:

1. boot into recovery
2. do a full wife
3. flash the Rom
4. reboob

If coming from any other ROM:

1. Copy Gapps and Asylum OMNI Zips to your internal SDCard
2. Boot into Recovery
3. Do a full wife (format date, sysyem, preload & cache is the best)
3. Flash Asylum OMNI zip from internal SDCard
4. Flash Gapps zip from internal SDCard
7. Reboob
8. Don't restore system stuff or apps + data using Titanium, it might cause issues

When you have Root Problems flash the SuperSU.zip

Carbon is a great rom, combining lot's of goodies from Omni - Slim and CM and is not available for Find5. So I decided to try and port it to our device, so below is the result:)

hi there.

so far the rom itself is very fast and stable, good job!

using slim or pa gapps breaks the black AOSP keyboard (gesture typing doesn't work). Using Banks Core Gapps doesn't cause that problem.

I really like the grey icon theme, is it possible to update it to kitkat icons for phone etc.? I looked for a nova theme like that in the play market but no luck so far....

For gapps indeed, never noticed gesture was broken when using slim gapps as i don't use the feature, i will update the OP with Banks Gapps link:good:
I'll look into the icons stuffs, though i don't see a lot of difference when swithing to default icons in Nova, then all icons are greyed out.

Asylum Dirty Unicorn version

Hello guys,

Activity on Omnirom et has been quiet the last days, so instead of building a normal Asylum Omni release, here you have an Asylum Dirty Unicorn version for Find5.
Though Dirty Unicorn is also based on Omni, there are a lot more customizations it this one, going from TRDS (Slim dark ui) to Halo and much more. Tell me what you think about it:fingers-crossed:

AOSP Keyboard FC

Installed asylum unicorn version. So far the only problem is that the AOSP keyboard is always FC. Installed swiftkey, set it as default but in a matter of minutes que AOSP keyboard is autoset as default and FC.
I'm from Portugal.

Strange, which gapps did you flashed? Maybe try with PA ones, this will replace aosp keyboard by Google one. But here aosp one is working ok.

    New Asylum Omni Build

    Hello Guys,

    Some points regarding Find5 dev in this thread, it has been a while for different reasons, including a pc crash that force me to restart my build environment from scratch :(

    Asylum Omni has been delayed for a month and new build is now available, see below. Omni build will remain slim, striped and with only some cherry picks for light roms lovers.

    Carbon builds have stopped. Why? I decided to port another rom to our device, much more complete and with support of a great dev team, Dirty Unicorn.

    I took me lot of time to manage to have it ported to our device, but last test build (which i posted the link here earlier this weekend) is really a good starting point, if you like all included features rom, it's for you! It has everything you may want (halo, themes, headers, tweaks...)
    Please this remains unofficial builds for the moment, so no support will be given on official DU site for this, please pm me when issues.

    Kernels:
    Omni is based on "omni" kernel and is compatible with great Bidji kernel
    DU Find5 is based on CM kernel and is compatible with Infinitus kernel you may find on Oppo forums.

    Asylum_LiquidSmooth_20141109_find5

    It may be the latest LS KK build before Android L new challenge. You can consider this build as a Kitkat Milestone.

    Lot of small system/kernel improvements. Tinted Navbar final version
    App2Sd of course.
    I couldn't reproduce some issues reported regarding Bluetooth pairing in some car models, sorry for that, maybe try with the DU build.
