UNI.indra.AKU3.3.BETA6

Basic i-mate ROM 1.90.94.WWE

Big thanks to MAMAICH for tools, and also Helmi,xplode(for office icon), Lt.Cmdr Ivan, JWJRIGHT, Vijay,black_shadows5150,Andree,and everyone who always support me.

Fix With this release:
- CrossBow Sound Themes
- New office icon/ gps icon
- New Task manager
- Application Closed
- Better speed

Extra Tools
- Pocket Screen Capture
- BootScreen changer (sample image)
- Extended ROM unlocker/unhider
- VGA mode support (with VJ bigPhone

Know Issues
- 3G connection status shown as G not 3G

if you interst to use on vga mode you can download the attachment
just copy to SD card and run it for fix phone just run VJBigphone and run it

Note : before doing upgrade .. make sure the Extended ROM is emty (use the extra tools to unlock /unhide) than del all the file on Extended ROM !

I am using your R3 rom and you already released your new one....

Many thanks for your extreme efforts.

I can tell that R3 is one of the best ones... soon I will try out the 3.3 as well.

after uprom finished. I can not star my o2 exec. Only show bootloader.

Try this buzz tools

To be clear:
It works only for "stuck at serial/usb" screen.
It will NOT work, if you are stuck at splash screen.
You ALWAYS HAVE TO TRY REFLASH prior running this tool, it will help most of the times. If flashing didnt help, run the tool.
It works on UNIVERSAL device type (maybe some others as well).

The tool does opposite of what EnterBL.exe does.
Once you ran EnterBL.exe on your Universal, it will prevent the system to boot into OS.

In such case, or after unsuccessful update, you can recover using this UNI_ExitBootloader.exe tool.

How to:
- disconnect USB cable from your device
- disable USB connection in ActiveSync
- reconnect USB cable
- wait some 30 seconds
- run the tool

If successful, device will boot itself.

3 questions though

* What is the Big Difference between AKU 3.2 and 3.3 ?
* In AKU3.2 you fixed the 3G icon, howcome in 3.3 it is back to the wrong icon?
* Did you include the followinf patch from Helmi too ? --> Better Phone, Backlight, Power & WLan Manager on QVGA & TRUE VGA

Congrats & thnx Indra,

These unofficial ROMs are really breathing in our Uni's a bit of new life each time. I tried all and decided to stick with yours.
Maybe you remember me posting about 'missing' SMS-s after soft reset - I'm learning - problem is not in your ROM but rather a 'feature' of Windows mobile - delayed write thing.
Anyhow, unfortunately don't have time at the moment to try on this new one before weekend - have to use my Universal in 'real life' occasionally.
However, one question - I notice that AKU 3 supports WPA2 - but how about AES encription for wireless networks. Unfortunatelly one of the most popular models of routers ISPs are giving away here don't properly supprot TKIP - leaeves me without wireless connection in alot of cases. Any pointers would be appreciated.
