Restoring for warranty?

I have the tab pro 8.4 rooted with twrp recovery although the screen is defective and bezels peeling away from the screen. Can anyone tell me how to restore the recovery and root to stock so I can return it to amazon?

Your knox warranty is tripped. 0X1 sorry no warranty

I was under the impression that rooting doesn't void the warranty, especially if the issue is only a faulty physical hardware issue. Does amazon actually check this bs knox warranty within the 30 day limit for a lemon device?

I'm pretty sure if you put a post-it note on the screen pointing to the defect, they won't even bother checking for knox digits.

I figured that as well. Despite any knox warranty being void, the tablet is clearly physically defective and wasn't properly manufactured. You can practically peel the bezel right off of the device, let alone the burnt pixels, light bleed and creaky/mushy home button. Just wondering if anyone else had any experience with this kind of matter. Have to pay $80 to ship it from Europe to amazon US for the 30 day refund so this will cause all kind of madness if it is rejected.
