I got the market to work by removing it with titanium backup and installing an apk I found on these forums! Thank you for your excellent work on this ROM, it's made my life much easier, no lie.

I will do a nandroid back up later and test your test ROM to see if anything else can be improved. :)

I have P.M.'s , that people ask me , about a video tutorial (guide) , on how to downgrade ......
But i'm sorry, i cannot do that .... because i have to upgrade first and then downgrade again ... and as there is no gingerbread rom , without issues , i don't want to upgrade yet ........
So , if someone could make a video , about how to downgrade , it will be great ...... Thanks ......

The theme cannot be disabled ....
But tomorrow , i will upload a version , without the theme and without added applications ....
I got , P.M.'s , about a Lite rom , without theme and added applications ,,,
So you're not the only one that likes the stock theme ,,,,, just i need few hours to upload the Lite Version ......

I have a question regarding theming. Is it possible to make the background of the settings menu black? It is black in the stock u8800-51 ROM. And to be honest, it's much easier on the eyes than a white background.

i want it too ,, but it's difficult , and i have no time to search on this ...
but if you find me , your stock (u8800-51) system applications ,, maybe i'll try it ...

I feel great , for this ......

As you see , it's the only one rom without a single bug ,,,, noone post a bug for this rom yet ..... and i'm sure that the difficult part is , to find a bug on this rom .....

The achievement of this rom ,, is just one word , "BUGLESS".....

I've been looking everywhere for a ROM that works well on this device, and I'm always interested in something new. Keep me posted if you do anything else for this device or if you need someone to test for this device(U8800-51). I'm a bit of a noob, but I'm always willing to help with what I can.

Also does the HORSE POWER BLACK ROM work with the U8800-51?

It does, I am using it on mine currently. It took a little work to get everything working for me, but I now have it running with no issues.

As hitaxas , said , it works ....
I made a test.zip for hitaxas (on page 8 ,the last post) .....
It's the Horse V1 , but with the black theme .....
Try this , and i think its gonna work without problems ....
I can provide also , a black theme zip , to flash it from recovery , if the test.zip don't work (i doubt ) ....

Hi,

First thank you ! i was missing the wifi since the update to Gingerbread and your themes and apps are great.

Little issue i have notice on my U8800pro is that the phone is rebooting when unused for a while... very strange but annoying....

Does anybody has experienced something similar with the Horse Power Black rom?

Well, could you try to flash the , test.zip ( page 8 , last post ) ...
Do all the wipes first ( data ,cache , dalvik cache ) , and format/system ..
Strange i don't have such a problem ......
Try the test.zip , its the same theme ( black ) ,,,, and tell me if the problem remains ....

Great , Great rom thanks , gkalenis i dont want and i dont care on themes so much, all i want is stability and to have my phone without problems ,this rom dissapear all my problems , thanks again

that's really good ....
the easy way is this ...

all you need ( how to ...etc ) is there ....

the other way , is to theme framework and system and data applications ,, by moddifing the .png's inside the applications ....
for example if you want to make a more complicated theme ,you must took the stock , framework-res.apk , then change .png icons and colours( i use photoshop for this job) ,,, and after that i put it in the , uot kitchen and i finished the theme ....

if you want something more ... i'm here ( also you have to google it on your own to find more things on theming ) ...

    do the first steps .........
    when you finished with the first step ,, update app (1,11mb),,, phone reboots ,,,,,,,
    right after first reboot
    pull out battery
    pull out sd card
    delete the ,, update app (1,11mb) ,, from ,dload, folder and copy the other ,, update app (255mb) ,, inside the ,dload, folder
    insert sd card
    insert battery
    and do as you did with first step, ( vol+ ,vol- ,power on )
    when it finished ,the phone will reboot (dont worry ,it needs some more time to boot) on stock 2.2.2 firmware

    After that you can install recovery.img(5.0.2.7) via pink screen
    Boot into recovery
    Do the wipes
    And flash the latest Horse version above

    All menu backgrounds are black , settings,contacts,etc....
    And i add a new .png file , that anyone can change the background with any image ( 480×800 ) he likes as background.
    I send you a p.m. to our greek forum to test the new framework_res_hwext.apk

    Well zyzas , i can do a lot of theming now , i can change almost everything in framework and i can do it with flashable zip.
    Also others Horse Riders , asked me for other themes and colours and i have to tell you that i will support this rom with theming .
    I'm happy of learning a lot of thinks in XDA community , i don't care of benefits right now , i just want to learn more ... so i want a little patience from all of you to release more themes with new colours.
