I'm not sure if it's just the stock kernel, but if I try to use HDMI mirroring (with HDMwIn) I can get the picture to display just fine, but the audio doesn't go to my TV. It'll go through the phone if I have the "route audio" option disabled, but otherwise not. Anyone know if the LEE Tiamat works/has HDMI out support?

I'm running the 2.2.17 build (since I didn't want to mess with the SD card issue) and I'm noticing something odd.

Let me say that I am a Battery Monitor Widget junkie. I am obsessed with how much my battery is drawing at all times. When in use, my phone will normally draw at about -150 ma to -225 ma if I'm doing something intensive, like a game. Then while sleeping, on wifi I'm anywhere between -19 to -23 and in the -30 to -40 range on 3G. With this ROM, I get crazy readings but I don't seem to really have any battery drain, so I think it might just be a weird incompatibility of BMW to work correctly with MIUI. I can't figure out why this would be.

Over the last hour or so of not using my phone, my 3G idle readings are all over the place....anywhere from -90 to -160, but my battery % is still the same. Weird. I haven't used MIUI very much, so maybe this is just one of its inherent problems. I was alarmed at first but now I guess I'll just ignore it.

Yeah my battery life seems great, especially for only have been running this setup for 24 hours (Tiamat 3.3.7) but it's just weird that my readings with BMW seem crazy compared to other roms I have ran it with. Like I said, the readings seem weird, but they do not seem to be accurate as my battery life is just fine. Running the Elite Pro HD theme and really digging it.

I dunno man I used to use the built in battery monitor and was always trying to figure out this wake issue I always had. It was registered as never settling but I never noiced a hit in battery ... it never seemed like an actual issue. It was weird enough for a while, but now I just disable the monitor, run my certain apps to keep track of certain things and go about my day. I dunno if said things could be similar, and truthfully I haven't run the monitor in a long time but maybe it's worth seeing if this 'issue' is still present.

-edit-

Guess I purchased BMW pro a while ago ( >_> ) Will have to check if I notice the wake bug again.

Yeah makes no difference to me since battery life really isn't being affected.

Telephony service is what lets you do phone calls, SMS/MMS and maybe even data.
Media Server is most often a live wallpaper.

As for the others I'm not sure =/

Media Sever also scans your SD card for audio, video, and picture files. If you have a lot of any of those or if you use Gallery, Camera, or any music player (basically any app that accesses media files), Media Server will run a lot and be much higher in the list.

MIUzI weighs a ton.

dammit is google down again shoot
teasing but a googley tells me akmd is the g sensor :D

Also if that is high on the list and you just started monitoring then it should lower and all even out. I don't recall seeing an issue with that in the past.

Swiper I've seen in another thread people talking about new features for the lockscreen. Mezu lockscreen and being able to go straight to Gmail. Do we have that?

Are there any known issues with Latitude? It won't allow location sharing. When asked if I want to enable it select "yes" and it just hangs until I exit out. Running the 2.2.17 build

I am trying to work things out with MIUI.US.
Hopefully we can get this all going again soon.
Swiper pulled all roms per MIUI.US request.
Seems part of their translation apks are in these roms. They asked for them to be pulled because credits were not posted.
To be honest I am not sure many if any post miui credits in their roms but we want to do it right.

We will do what we can to work with them to get this back up.
Please be patient as we want to get things worked out and also do it right.

    Thank you.

I have tried talking with MIUI.US and still no reply from them.
Stated the work done here would direct credit to them and we would do what needed to be done.
They refuse to answer and I sent pm the day this got shut down.

They have a right to get credit yes, but ignoring the fact this was the best port and made users happy is disrespectful.
We have offered to make things right and they do not reply.

I have much respect for the work they do but banning Swiper without a chance to make it right is absurd.

They think what was done here was wrong but they did not give a chance to make it right.

Official porter or not, if credits are given that should be enough as that is all they complained about.
Now that we offered to make it right there is no response.

    As I posted on MIUI.us:

Swiper didn't take initiative for any position. He made his own ports and released them on his own site completely independently of MIUI.us as if MIUI.us didn't exist, and as far as I know, he made no effort to contact MIUI.us about becoming the site's official porter. The only reason his ports even made it to MIUI.us is because Raadius was kind enough to post them for Swiper. Basically, this is Swiper's own doing. He wanted to be completely independent, which is perfectly fine, but he used MIUI.us' work to do so with no indication whatsoever of that fact. Whether it was intentional or not is beside the point.

Endless, you know, I have the utmost in respect for you, but let's revisit a little history.

Towards the end of the year, MIUI.us said they were going to focus on dev'ing ICS versions of MIUI. And they did; for every phone EXCEPT the Evo.
At that point, the Evo was basically dropped, except for 2 very half-assed attempts that came out in December and were broken. Not one person from MIUI.us offered us a word about anything. Nor was there any attempt to fix the releases that were basically unusable.

Swiper was the one that came in, looked at the ROM and offered to rework what was broken and forgotten, and came up with amazingly stable versions that put MIUI back on the Evo.

Every time I hear, or read about someone crying because they didn't get as much credit as their lame ego's dictate that they should have, I want to wring their necks. I'm sick of whiny babies that are more concerned with their own adoration than they are progressing the work on these devices.
That little tantrum has shut down more threads and chased away more devs who ONLY do this so that retards like me can satiate our need to constantly tweak and mod our devices.

Swiper sure didn't do it for a paycheck.

Bottom line is, if there was never a Swiper, or someone like him, MIUI on the Evo would STILL be dead. Now Sin is a great choice, but HE was working on and doing a great job with MIUI ICS, not GB. I will love when MIUI ICS is stable enough to be a completely functional ROM, but in the meantime, I want GB to be constantly updated and improved and THAT is what Swiper did, without asking anyone for anything in return. And what he got back was the shaft.
