I have tried every way possible to try and remove (hide) the battery icon but I just can't. Any help in that is appreciated greatly!
I have tried decompiling and compiling systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk myself and deleting the battery.png images but no success. I also tried the NinjaMorph app to edit the framework apk with no success.

For back to stock rom you need a older recovery, you have probably a recovery for Kitkat rom.

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk ROM builds. This is a build derived from CM with a ton of useful features added. You get speed, ultra customization ability and later, stability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with the BeanStalk. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to @skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!

The BeanStalk is always evolving, new features coming in, bugs being ironed out. It's happening right here folks.

    [UPDATE 12/02/2014] Beanstalk 4.4.247

    Ok guys !
It took some time but finally the update is here ! As I told you, I don't have the device so I can't really test the ROM but there shouldn't be any problem. Anyway, do not forget to backup before doing anything so that you won't risk anything ;)
For the changelog look here https://github.com/scotthartbti?tab=activity but in short you should find new amazing features ( customization of the progress bar, Beanstalk Pie...) and a lot of improvements under the surface :)
