Google Nexus 7 Toolkit Auto Update V3.8.2 [14th Nov 2012] Ready!!
Changelog:
+Fixed unroot zip file not copying to device
+Fixed unroot zip file not unrooting the device (system mount point was set wrong)
+Added SuperSU 0.98 by Chainfire for Rooting JellyBean 4.2 (ONLY USE SUPERSU FOR ROOTING 4.2)
+Blocked rooting 4.2 with Superuser until it is updated
+Added comprehensive 'Information/Help Section' within Toolkit (WELL WORTH A READ)
+Added many minor edits relating to JellyBean 4.2 stability
Ok I think I got everything covered this time. The Toolkit will disable Superuser root method if Android 4.2 was selected at the start. Once ChainsDD updates Superuser for compatibility with the new MultiUser feature I will reenable it as an option but for now SuperSU is best. I have added as much security into the Toolkit to block errors but lets see if someone manages to do it anyway.
The Toolkit will now fully root 4.2 properly although root only works on the main user account and is disabled for other users. You can read more about this
*HERE* in Chainfires thread (many thanks to him).
I have also added all the Frequently asked Questions from post#2 into a new Information/Help Section in option23 from the Main Menu. Most problems can be found there with possible answers so now everything you need is truly within the Toolkit
Enjoy.
I must appologise to people who can't use the Auto Update feature and are feeling a bit left out of the loop. I have 7 Toolkits to add 4.2 support to and I am working flat out to make as many users as possible happy but as soon as this wave of chaos is over I can sort everyone out. Thank you all for being patient and not complaining in the thread.
Also to people who have donated and not received any code yet I will sort you all out tonight now that V3.8.2 is done.
Mark.
