Other 3rd camera apps work like vignette which uses the stock camera before converting, so use that in emergency

I found a solution: SoraxD on the samsung galaxy S forums modified the original SGS2 camera app and now it works at any % of battery. Google Soraxd Camera and it came up for me
you cannot just switch cameras depends which f/w they came from.. need to make sure it was the one yo are using ie ke7 etc.
i also checked that thread.. that version of the camera he hacked was from an earlier firmware as ke7 was not out till around the 19th and that was done on the 8th.. so obviously all the camera improvmenets from ke7 are not in there.
