PSNote is quite an interesting application since it allows you to input handwritten notes which are automatically translated into computer text. However, you can do the same with the Outlook Mobile Notes application, together with Transcriber:
so let me get it right, u need
1. LGMenu.exe
2. Todaybutton.dll
3. LGString.dll
in order to make it work on plugin ???
BTW
what is Musique covers browser?
& how does the psnote diff from default windows note?
correct and i installed teh cab from post 115 if it matters or not i dunno. but those 3 files for sure. i just wish i could get the menus back into english theyre all in french now because the lgstring.dll was french coded
here is a sample today plugin
the registry used is
Code:REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\"LG Buttons"] "Selectability"=dword:2 "DLL"="TodayButton.dll" "Order"=dword:1 "Enabled"=dword:1 "Type"=dword:4
it may need some tweaking
two of the buttons does not work but i havent check the dependencies yet
put lgmenu and both dlls into /windows and install the cab from post #115
the lg menu icon labels all turn to french (prob cause its a french rom)
well ill come back to it when someone figures it out but thats a lot of icons to customize to be able to add and remove. thats really dumb lg didnt make it customizable.
Here apps that could be extracted so far (from ks20.lgmobile.com)
- start menu
- black theme (black background scrolbars etc.)
- WMP theme
- Musique covers browser
- LG menu (configuration possible?)
- Today plugin
- psnote
- LGdialer (HTC's much nicer)
Well if someone wants or can translate LGString.dll to english it will work perfect, i can extract all strings as text , and provide them here and if someone can translate them i will edit the dll with the english text
it is simple reshacking
also when it is done i will update the cab for it
u dont need this ... cos this one is the lower button that is in LG menu at today screen ...
