So as of right now there is no possible way to install this on my retail version Note 3. I knew I should have booth the Dev edition instead of helping out a friend. GRR :(

If I'm running the old 4.3 bootloader can I still flash 6.19.3? I'd like to get USB working in recovery.

Click thanks if I helped you.

We have to stick to the recoveries designed for the bootloader we have.

I guess we are waiting for a developer to take over for this device.

Developer wanted, hard work, no pay but we'll love you for a time. :)

Hello, I am unable to restore backups using this recovery. I get md5 mismatch and then i disable md5 check and then it is unable to locate the backup. My backups are at /mnt/shell/emulated/clockworkmod/backup but I don't see an option in recovery to pull backups from that location...anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? Any help would be very appreciated...Thank you

I don't know a thing about your device, but maybe this is worth a try:

try to move the backup to where the device wants it:

/mnt/shell/emulated should be the same as /data/media
mnt/shell/emulated/0 should be the same as /data/media/0 (which is perhaps where the backups are, you can check).
open emulator or explorer and move or copy(if you've room) from wherever your backups are now to /mnt/shell/emulated/0/clockworkmod/backup.

I hope it works. If not I don't know the answer since I can only build Philz Touch for a device I have without flying blind.

Good luck.

Yes, no doubt it is that
It is clearly described in the FAQ. This recovery, unlike stock CWM, supports /data/media/0

The backups are currently in mnt/shell/emulated and I'm sure if I move them to where the recovery will see them it will restore but does that mean I have to move my backups around all the time to use philz? I don't have to do that with twrp or regular cwm

What I don't understand is why they are being moved there in the first place. They are initially baked up to the clockwork mod folder on sdcard but then they vanish from there and end up in the emulated folder that isn't found when attempting to restore

read the faq to understand what is /data/media/0 about
After that, you won't have to move your backups all the time

Please post recovery.img and boot.img from new ROM/bootloader combo
@Phil3759 Here are all the files I dumped from the stock 4.4 DE. Looks like I used the wrong extension on the recovery (img rather than bin) but I'm guessing you can just rename the extension? Let me know when you're ready to test it.

@Phil3759 any chance we will get a recovery for the Verizon Wireless developer edition 4.4 bootloader? Now that the CDMA and GSM builds have been split I really don't have anything to flash for a compatible recovery.

Does anyone know which one we use for Verizon Dev edition note 3 4.4 bootloader? Now that cm11 gsm and cdma builds are split.

Does anyone here still have a Note 3 developer's edition, or know someone who does? Recently beaups released an exploit that will allow for the bootloader to be unlocked of the retail Verizon Note 3. All that is required is a few files from a developer's edition. I'm not personally working on it myself, but I told the guy who is that I would ask around for him. It seems to be a really easy conversion as well. So please help us find one!

Is there a custom rom yet for the newly rooted 5.0? Don't say Jasmine 6.1 because I've already tried it and it bricked my phone. I had to reinstall OF1 then re-root it. I tried twice with a couple of different ways of doing it but to no avail.

I just realized that those of us on CyanogenMod11 probably have a kitkat based kernel?
    Kernel version: 3.4.0-g0ba80f7
    build02@cyanogenmod #1

    It is not a problem
The issue comes when you have an updated bootloader that needs different kernel cmdline parameters

Thanks didnt know about this thread. Not sure I understand what that md5sum file you mention is...

Most download posters make the md5sum available and goo actually makes a file available. It is a kind of checksum, a number, designed to help detect file corruption. If you keep the file and the md5sum file together then when you flash, the recovery will check the sum (twrp does this) before flashing, so it's a kind of protection. Where you select a file for download, nearby should be a very long number that should be labeled md5sum. On goo, pressing the md5sum number as if it was a button, will start the download. So if you dl file.zip then the file.zip.md5 will be it's match and should contain a single line: md5sum_number file.zip. Other sites may provide a md5sum but not a file, you can make the file with copy/paste using an editor.
