Droid Mini with Straight Talk

I have a Droid Mini with Straight Talk and I am having two issues.

(1) Everything you start up the phone it says "This SIM card is from an unknown source" and you have to click "ok"
(2) Sometimes I have random problems sending SMS (i am using hangout) however Google Talk seems to always work (of course also using hangout).

Does anyone else have these issues or know of a fix?

Its because you are using it on Straight talk

how did you get the mini on straight talk? I want to pick one up to flash to page plus but thought that there isn't anyway to make the NV only stick.

It probably has something to do with your APN setting. I had a similar problems when I started using mine with H2O

Its quite simple. All you have to do is get the phone and pop in the desired Sim card (only catch is that it must be a genuine nano Sim card), once you have that then you just have to manually input the APN for that carrier.
