Crt_on_for_eman

Since ppal made a revert could someone test this crt on i just redid for eman to see if the issue persists? I flashed eman to test it myself, just wanted to see if this solves the issues for you guys... Thanks..

I noticed YouTube does not play there is just sound for a few sec and stops. Have installed few times. I wiped and wiped before ROM install. Other than that ROM works awesome. Thanks

Works. I installed two market apps and no bootlooping. Thanks!

That's odd. On stock eman there is no issue. That has only happened if flashed infusion without the lib change. I always test the video function with you tube and ha e had zero issues, especially unmodified.

You have made no other changes after a fresh install?

I did flash Infusion I was not aware of lib change. I have not had any issues with other roms and infusion in the past.( that I recall) Since there was nothing in the instructions I thought it would be ok. Could explain to me what changes would have to be made to make this work? If its not possible it's not a problem on my end ( it is my fault). thanks for bringing a new light to my phone.

That's easy. Go to the ota in settings and in the rom section there is a flashble file called infusion-libs. Flash in recovery and all will be good again.

So even if you would carry over the 4 camera lib files that was posted in forums to fix the 30 fps issue it still won't fix it using infusion kernel?

No. Incompatible libs. You will break other stuff. You are welcome to try and mix and match libs to find answer no one has yet. Maybe you will stumble across something.

Here's what I did when bootlooping due to original CRT ON mod:

1. Quickly uninstall recently installed app from google play to stop the bootlooping. (have to get to it before it reboots)
2. Flash the revert by ppal.
3. Verify all's good by downloading random apps from google play.
4. Flash dman's fix (make sure you're not flashing the original).
5. Test app install from google play

I DONT HAVE BOOTLOOP
when I try to install app fdom market phone reboots
then it works fine until i try to install any market app again

Yea... trying clearing cache from market like qkster said. Cause I'm still running Emancipation with the crt on and its running great.....

Are you running the Arabic patch? Not sure why that would affect this but trying to figure out variables.

This sounds like a different issue. I used a gapps install to fix a separate Google issue I have had. Might want to start fresh with that too.

Yes Im running arabic patch and mentioned it before
I will reinstall Eman 2day and try dman latest fix

    The battery icon has been removed from the statusbar. The battery bar has taken it's place. However, upon first boot, you must set the battery bar to a width of 3 pixels in order for it to appear. Onces set, it will stick upon reboot.​

    FAQ

    Q. I try to download from the ota and I always get "download unsucessful. How do I fix this?
    A. Many have stated that trying a browser other than stock will help...Opera, Dolphin, etc should work. If you prefer to use stock...try this: Download Astro File Explorer, open preferences, and scroll to the bottom and select "enable browser downloads"...then download like a good boy should!

    Not sure what you felt needed cleaning up, but was wondering if you would let our thread roll with whatever happens. Obviously, we appreciate you doing your part to keep our thread safe and on target, but sometimes its nice to just be human. Let us wander from development if the natural current leads us. Knowing that it will always come back. I have always enjoyed that our threads...at least ones that I have been involved in... have allowed for us to be human, change the subject, take a detour, but yet come right back to the subject at hand. Work is not always about work. Let us fraternize, in between all the official development stuff. Perty please ;)
