Hi, this image is dumped from working device (because i could not find it anywhere) to rescue my dead one.
So here we go:

P.S.
might not work on all devices, use for recovery only, YOU MIGHT BRICK YOUR DEVICE, but works fine on mine (german room too)
to enter bootloader menu: (middle button (joystick) down + power button)

also i found SDHC driver in this forum, and it works on my mio A201 (tested with 16GB and 8GB SDHC cards)

put that file in to card, card in to device and press button combination to get in to bood loader (power button, cant remember other button and reset at the same time) try to google.

please let me know how to enter in the boot loader menu. i have tried all the possible combinations (power+....+ reset) and it's just loading..and nothing after (just black screen) with a red led flashing (the right led).

dear all,

i succeded to enter bootloader menu: (middle button (JOISTICK) down + power button)
1. flash rom upgrade
2. CE by SDMMC
3. READING IMAGE, flashing, writing OK, verifying OK...Upgrade OK,
iMAGE checksum: 0xf7cacce, restart your device....

after that none of the buttons works (power, reset, ......), nothing.
so if i'm removeing the baterry, put it back, press the power and it is the same dead device (still loading....and nothing after - black screen and red led flashing)

what am i doing wrong ?
is there any other method to flash this thing?
how did you all succeded to instal and make it run again?

please help me and i will thank you for that,

put your battery cover back, and try again to power on.

hi, i did this several times. still loading....and than nothing, black screen and the led flashing...
any new ideeas how to make it work again?

the battery cover has a pin, wich is correspondent with a microswitch.

yes, off ad on again after 2 min. (hard reset)....still nothing...
i've tried all possible combinations...

try german rom maybe it will work, then try english again
and make sure that downloaded file is not damaged, and (it may sound stupid) is your device is Mitac Mio A201?
