Razorclaw is a new tool (on-device!) for rooting any version ASUS Transformer.

Update 25-12-2011: Only use the below versions! The latest OTA has the vulnerability fixed! Sorry for the late update on this.

Currently known supported versions:
  • ASUS Transformer TF101 (8.6.5.19)
  • ASUS Transformer 3G TF101G (8.6.6.19)
  • ASUS Slider SL101 (8.6.5.18)

Update nov 16: Works with Slider as well! Also, Google suspended the app from market, so get it from the site!

Simply install, click Root, and you're good to go! :)

Note: Any donations people decide to give for this should go to the donate link on http://androidroot.mobi/donations/ and NOT directly to me.

How does it work? Will it enable clockworkmod recovery?

I've truly waited for this! Thank you all!

This mean I can use root apps since I have already tried that, but not install custom Roms right?

Any way it's a giant leap forward & a giant thank you for the effort!!!
Gonna donate later tonight after having played abit with this :-D

It will let you use custom ROM's soon enough.
Root ahead and wait a few days and it'll be there :)

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou.

I have been checking here everyday since I got my TF-101 in September and found it was unrootable with methods at that time. Downloaded and rooted in seconds, painless and simple.
