Note: It is Highly Recommended that you Wipe before installing Liberty 1.5 even if you have 1.0 installed.

Liberty is tested and supported on only 320/340 droid X’s.

Liberty is the result of a collaboration between Kejar31 and Jrummy16. The base and apps from this ROM are the continuation of GummyJAR’s base while the scripts and toolbox are the continuation of Rumm’s tools. Together Liberty is a evolution in the DroidX/2 ROM scene.

Can this be flashed ontop of 1.0 or does it require that data be wiped?

Edit: too early in the AM. Didn't read the full post

Lightning fast. However, some programs (BofA, solitaire) only use about 75% of the screen. Any ideas?

EDIT: Liberty toolbox and Liberty settings FC almost everytime.

EDIT 2: SBF fixed the apps only using part of the screen. Toolbox still FC'ing.

+1 for the non-black GVoice

SOLVED: You can get rid of the black GVoice and GTalk by deleting the apks from the system folder and downloading GVoice and GTalk from the Market.

Pin Lockscreen Password Issue

I was restoring apps through Titanium when my phone crashed. After rebooting the pin lock screen no longer accepts my password. This has happened with previous ROMs, but when I would type it in wrong enough times it would give me the option of resetting the password through signing into my google account. I don't get this password reset option, so I'm essentially locked out of my phone.

Anyone know a workaround for this without SBFing, like a way to boot into clockwork? I tried pulling my battery, but it didn't boot into clockwork like it usually does.

i know the whole point of this was to strip out as many elements of Blur as possible (which you guys did VERY well!) and I'm absolutely loving 1.5 so far, however, my one complaint is that the Blur Gallery isn't included in the Toolbox. the camera/camcorder app is the ONE thing i like about motorola's stock rom and I'm glad that I have the option to install it in Liberty, but its really annoying using the moto camera app with the aosp 3d gallery. when i'm using the moto camera app and tap the image box in the lower-left corner (the one that shows your most recently captured photo), it opens the aosp gallery as it should, but its NEVER opened to the last picture that i took. it lumps all my pictures together completely out-of-order and its really difficult to find the one that i just took. i guess the intent that gets fired off by moto's camera app is somewhat malformed/non-standard and it doesn't play nicely with the aosp gallery. this issue doesn't occur with the aosp camera obviously, but i really need some of the camcorder profiles (particularly the concert one) as i go to a lot of shows and love being able to capture crystal clear audio and above-average quality video even in extremely loud situations. im sure if i looked hard enough i could find the gallery app in one of my stock nandroids (or if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome) but i would love to see it included in the toolbox.

keep up the excellent work! i look forward to whatever else Liberty may have to offer in the future. its easily my favorite ROM so far. :)

A slightly odd situation just occured. While tweaking some of the icons in Liberty Tool Box, I went back to my main screen and I had no 3G service. It was like my phone was off the grid. When I tried to make a call it would automatically got to Skype. When I tried to go into Wireless Network settings it would FC on me. Thankfully I was able to get into CWM/Bootstrap and reflash the ROM. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but I thought I would bring it to your attention. All seems to be fine for now. I will be sure to let ya know if any other problems occur.

For everyone experiencing problems, did you guys wipe? I want to install this rom but it seems like a lot of people are reporting bugs. I think I'll stay on 1.0 for a little longer.

You can enable/disable the light. And put it pretty much any colors that you want.
