What is it?
A simple automated root script for Windows users.
This uses the general root method used on most LG devices as of recent.
Batch file is influenced by thecubed

How do I use it?

First, if you're on Windows then you'll need the LG USB drivers: http://goo.gl/PfEgTg
From there, simply run root.bat then just follow the prompts.
Linux and Mac users should read root.bat and run the same commands on their systems.

Where to get it?

Mirror 2: http://d-h.st/v1A

Warnings
Could void your warranty. Probably not a good idea to try to get your tablet serviced with this installed. It would be best to flash back to a stock configuration.

Where can I get help?
I can't possibly help everyone so I hope fellow users can help you in this thread.
Please do not flood me with PMs. I have a difficult enough time keeping up with all the messages and such that I get

Ok, I had seen a different name of the EXE and I had not yet opened, the procedure is that in any case, very good.

If @dalingrin has a faster procedure to remove his Root...is better, in any case I understand the guidance and tools.

thanks

edit: i'm really noob with LG, with samsung (n7000) is totally different. :D

I just rooted my tablet, easiest method ever. Installed also adaway and everything seems to work fine. Definitely worth the waiting for a safe root method. Thanks again for this script!

I quote the question of @drekas

    thanks :)

I have a question, how do i revert root ? For warranty porpuses.

    Hi :)

You can always install "lgMobile Support Tool", from LG and do an "Upgrade Recovery", on the menu.. it removes root and flashes the latest firmware.. ;)

    THIS works for 4.4.2 stock.

I just got my G pad today, immediately updated it with LG PC Suite and have now rooted it with this tool. I tried the one that was posted above this post but it didn't work for me.

yeah i am also interested to know if i can update gpad's software with official update and what will happen to the root. Is it possible these to conflict with each other and cause any problems?

My suggestion, if you want to keep root don't take an OTA.
If you really want to stay with stock LG then you'll want to flash updates via custom recovery. The community will take the updates from LG and make them flashable with TWRP or CWM.
