any kernel that we can replace it with another piece of kernel is more suitable ics. I think different gs2 different kernel settings. we are looking for a smart stay fit ;)

full wipe my opinion better dalvic including wipe and format the system it seems. works well on my

I am always getting 41 degrees in my battery temp. When using wifi. Is this normal? Currently using grey fh.

I tried the GreyFox V1 and had contacts FC. Reverted back to PsychoMantis V2 for the moment...

Another question, can i just wipe cache and dalvik and flash the ROM??

Or i need to format system, data, cache, dalvik and do a complete wipe ROM flash?

I don't mind doing a full wipe, but as usual, just gets annoying to setup all my custom folders on apex.

Suggestion's??

my main aim, is stability and good performance... if doing a full wipe is the only way to ensure it, i would do a full wipe...

Please don't change kernel. A lot of people search roms with siyah kernel, because of dualboot !

So i have rom1 Foxhound Greyfox for daily and work use. And on weekend i switch to rom2 Resurrection Remix.

I know we can flash kernel over kernel, but it's more time to system it.

Foxhound is one of the best, very smooth and stable.. I was not happy either with battery life. You may try an AOKP Rom like Resurrection Remix 1.7 or Hydrog3n 28.04 release. I am on RR 1.7 and battery life is good however I will give FH Grey fox a try as FH is one of my favourite ROMs. :)

I suggest also to keep both Roms default kernel (CM and Net chip). Netchip AOIK kernel has the best deep sleep out there.. Siyah although it is the best kernel out there it is still not that good in terms of battery life..

i removed the GXX Maps from the Apps Folder. now maps are completely gone and in cant even install from market. there is maps.apk present in sys/app folder but i dont know what it is doing..

    NOTE: Now FoxHound has only ONE (1) install file.

    1. Boot into recovery mode
    2. Format System / Factory Data Wipe
    3. Wipe cache and also wipe dalvik cache
    4. Install the zip file and you will get the CWM install completed message.
    5. Select Reboot Now and let the phone boot up to an Android setup screen.
    6. Setup the phone as requested
    7. Reboot the phone into recovery mode again and wipe cache and dalvik cache again
    8. Reboot phone and everything should be working...
    9.Now if you want install extra package

    For old FoxHound ROM

    1. Boot into recovery mode
    2. Format System / Factory Data Wipe
    3. Wipe cache and also wipe dalvik cache
    4. Install Part 1 until you get the CWM install completed message.
    5. Select Reboot Now and let the phone boot up and you should get to an Android setup screen.
    Don't use advanced CWM mode or reboot into recovery
    6. Setup the phone as requested and then reboot the phone into recovery mode again
    7. Wipe cache and dalvik cache again
    8. Install Part 2
    9. Reboot phone and everything should be working...
    10. If you get any error msgs, try removing your external SD card and start again.[/COLOR]
