Re: [Morphology] Official v1.5 // Have it Your Way! [02.17.13]

You might fix those with rom tool box. Just reflash the 3g and 4g ones with the ones in the themer. It should be in the lite version too, I don't know, I bought it like 2 years ago to get liberty beta's on the DX. It's became a hell of a tool since I first bought it. I couldn't live without it. And you can catch it on sale sometimes. And or buy for reduced price for a good cause I remember many. The backup part doesn't backup my data as well as TiBu but it does get the apps. Sorry for the sales pitch. I do like the app

Anyway thanks to the guys who put this out here I hope I can get the framework part working correctly though.

Fixed version for 3g is already in OP. Are you sure the framework isn't changing though? You didn't respond when I asked you before  Try flashing Fleur like I have set up and see if it changes, I want to be sure you're looking the right places for changes! Background of some apps like Root Explorer or your settings, and reboot menu.

Re: [Morphology] Official v1.5 // Have it Your Way! [02.17.13]

Did you theme the framework or change the framework background. Did you use 1.5?

Thanks. I might try tonight with hyperdrive.

I could successfully apply a complete theme, and customize to my liking. So yes, changed framework and framework background.

Re: [Morphology] Official v1.5 // Have it Your Way! [02.17.13]

I'm on beans build 11. It doesn't have the 23 toggle it had 15 or that's what I chose in aroma. My question is do I still need to flash the system zip.

Some things will work without, I believe the toggles would still theme fine. However I would suggest flashing the prep package just to make sure everything works :)

Will the android keyboard be added for theming on any updates. Will there be anymore updates in the future?

What keyboard are you running? We have thought about keyboards, but there are so many out there that folks use.
This will be an ongoing project, always evolving.. :D

I went into system, apps, and all it says is jelly Bean keyboard. I even went into the file to see if it said it in there some where but no dice.

I read your tutorial on theming keyboards, is their a way to do it using the morph tool? Does the script have to be changed on it or do you just swap out the apk's in the morph template?

Thebe@r'$ G@L@XY

Works fine with the Morph template too. :) Full apks go into the 'XTRAS' folder, while morphs go into the 'MORPH' folder. The important thing to remember with either folder, is to make sure it follows the correct path. So if you wanted to inject pngs into the Google 4.2 keyboard, the full folder path would look like this:
Code:
MORPH\system\app\LatinImeGoogle.apk\res\drawable-xhdpi
So within the 'drawable-xhdpi' folder, you would drop your pngs.

Does anyone know how I can get the stock TW data/wifi/1x/3g/4g icons? I have looked all over and cannot find them. The "stock" ones in morphology are not stock TW..

BTW morphology is awesome, thanks!

flash whatever stock rom you are using. reboot. then flash morphology. change whatever you like, when it comes to those settings choose to leave them alone. then reboot. you should have your stock icons back.

i just remembered the prep package zip replaces them. i think i figured out how to manually pull them from the stock rom though.

**using cleanrom 5.6

***edit: i am not sure if the prep package replaced the 1g/3g/4g icons, but i did notice after i booted with just prep package installed it had replaced my wifi/cell bar icons.

    • Grab the zips from the OP (one under requirements, other is Morphology)
    • Boot into recovery and flash the 'required' zip. This will prepare your phone for theming. Reboot after zip installs.

It works. I use it on CR6.0. Flash the prep, reboot. Then flash morphology. I have no issues on the newest build.
